Finding Spanish classes in Hamburg that are both effective and affordable can be tricky. Classes are typically in groups, meaning you have limited opportunities to speak. On top of this, you’ll often find certain students dominate the conversation, or ask the teacher endless questions!
LanguaTalk offers a more convenient and effective alternative: 1-on-1 online Spanish classes with experienced native tutors. You won’t find these tutors available for face-to-face Spanish lessons in Hamburg. LanguaTalk finds the best tutors from around the world. They offer conversational Spanish classes at cheaper rates because they don’t have to travel to you and they often live in countries with a lower cost of living.
Probably you’re thinking: but are online classes really as effective as face-to-face? You can book a no obligation 30-minute trial session (for free with most tutors) and see for yourself. Classes take place via video call, allowing you to communicate with your tutor and share learning materials, as if you were in the same room. And you can book classes for whenever it suits you.
Below, you can filter to tutors who have availability that fits with your Hamburg time zone. Then watch videos, check reviews, and book a trial session.
If you have questions, you can click the 'Help' button in the bottom right. There, you’ll find answers to every question imaginable, and the option of contacting our support team.

Born, raised and based in Mexico City.
I've got more than 5 years of experience in language schools and online. I'm passionate about learning languages and culture through them.
I have studies in Hispanic literature and linguistics at UNAM. So, we can talk about many topics related to Latin America literature and culture or I can offer lessons with a linguistic approach: phonetics, grammar, lexicon, etc.
Thanks to this amazing profession as a Spanish teacher, I've had the chance of meeting students from different countries and backgrounds.
I'd love to help you improve your Spanish and teach you through culture, music and games.
What could you expect from my lessons?
° Conversation and pronunciation lessons.
° Grammar and reading.
° Spanish for travelling.
° Spanish for bussines.
° Get to know about culture and music from Mexico and Latin American countries.
° Didactic material included (worksheet, books, videos, games, pictures).
PRONUNCIATION LESSONS
Our vocal apparatus is one more muscle that we have to exercise for better results. In our pronunciation lessons we are going to make each part of your mouth working out. This way, you will sound more natural when speaking not only Spanish but other languages you intend to learn in the future. There's no matter if you are interested in a particular accent, I can help you anyways!
These are some items you can expect in your lessons:
° Shadowing practice.
° Articulatory phonetics exercises.
° Tongue twisters.
° Dictation of words.
° Reading short texts aloud.
So, when do we start? I'm waiting for you!

I cover all levels and have experience in conversational classes. Every class is adapted to the student's level and will tailored to your needs.
Practical, conversational Spanish includes lots of activities, like word games, guess the word, creating stories using different tenses...
But if you prefer, we can also have dictations, make grammar exercises or choose online resources or magazine articles to talk about.
And, about me... I was born and raised in Spain (Burgos), and still living here. I love languages and always try to help as much as I can.
Book a trial so we can discuss your needs, I can answer your questions, and we can practice some Spanish!

My lessons are directed to students of all levels looking to develop their own speaking and writing style in Spanish. I believe that the creative drive is one of the most powerful accelerators of learning and in particular, language learning; so my classes involve acting exercises, fun writing prompts, vocal training akin to singers' training, and a variety of further creative work.
We will work on near perfect pronunciation through vocal practice that takes from singing practice, but focuses on diction. You'll become aware of how the muscles of your mouth and face create sound, and how using different resonance points throughout your face will get you to reproduce just the sound you were stuck with. Muscle memory, baby!
Fluency in articulating your own thoughts and essence in Spanish is achievable through writing prompts that do feel important for you. To write about a topic that actually matters to you, I'll provide you with beautiful vocabulary words, and we'll get through grammatical forms that may better encapsulate your ideas and feelings. I will help you make Spanish your own.
If you are wanting to absorb a particular part of Hispanic or Latino culture (e.g. Rosalía's composition, rap music, particular accents, reggeaton's lyrics), we will investigate and go through the elements at interest to get you to the point of creation. If you are a musician or a writer, I can help you use the rhythmic essence of Spanish in your own art. Hit me up!
Within every technique I use, I work with my knowledge of neural connection strengthening and weakening, all facilitated through repetition, reward, understanding and reprogramming of reflexes, investigation of previous outdated strategies, etc. Emotional management is key to success, and we'll work on that in your training just as much as in the linguistic side.

*NOT TAKING ANY NEW STUDENTS AT THE MOMENT*: my schedule is about to change completely, so I won't be taking any new students for the rest of the year. Sorry for the inconvenience!
MSc in Speech Therapy and Cognitive Neuroscience, BA in Spanish Linguistics and Literature, and Diploma in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
📍Native speaker/Colombian.
📚 Spanish teacher since 2014. Experience with students of all levels- from beginner to advanced.
✏️Tailored curriculum for all students with activities and materials that reflect the actual use of Spanish E.g. audio, ads, texts, and interviews of native speakers.
📝In my grammar classes, the students receive detailed information on grammar issues following a designed curriculum that goes from A1 (beginner) level to C1-C2 (advanced) level. When practicing, we have a conversation and I give feedback using what they've learned.
In the conversation lessons, we focus on speaking and listening. I always promote debate and offer necessary corrections. We can cover a range of topics, e.g., current events, culture, science, philosophy, or even a topic proposed by the student beforehand.

Hi everyone! I'm Mariángeles and I'm from Huelva, a city near Seville. I have been working as a private teacher for over 10 years now. I really enjoy meeting new people at language exchanges, travelling and learning about other cultures.
I lived in Milan for two years and in Dublin for a year and a half. Both experiences were unforgettable and I would like to share them with you.
Regarding to my studies, I have a degree in Tourism and a double degree in Humanities, Translation and Interpreting. Languages are my passion since I was a child and I will be more than happy to share my passion with you all. I am a very well-organised and peaceful person.
During my lessons I always try to develop a relationship with all my students in order to discover their interests and make my lessons more interesting and enjoyable. For this reason, my motto is "make learning fun and practical".
During the lessons you will practice all the skills so that you can have a good command of Spanish.
We will go through different kind of activities: listening comprehension exercises, exercises about idioms and informal/formal vocabulary, formal/informal writings, rewriting exercises, etc.
I'm really looking forward to hearing from you and meet you. If you book a trial lesson you'll learn so many things and you'll have fun too! I'll be more than happy to help you with your Spanish :)
See Reviews From StudentsMany students initially have reservations about participating in online Spanish classes, thinking the experience will be vastly different from in-person classes. However, they often discover that online classes can be just as engaging and effective. In an online Spanish class, you’ll interact with your teacher and classmates as if you were all in the same room. The teacher may share resources (like articles or videos) and will collaborate with you in real-time using tools like Google Docs or Dropbox Paper, ensuring an interactive learning environment. The biggest benefit is convenience: there is no need to travel, and you can book lessons for when it suits you.
Whilst not always the case, Spanish classes in Hamburg are typically more expensive than online learning options. This is due to the costs associated with using a classroom, as well as travel time and expenses for teachers. Online classes, on the other hand, eliminate these overheads. Additionally, online instructors often live in countries with lower living costs, which can further reduce the price of online classes.
If you prefer in-person learning over online classes, LanguaTalk might not be the best fit for your needs. For local classes, you can search through community boards or local service listing websites. However, we encourage you to explore the convenience and effectiveness of online classes. You can start with a free trial session to experience the benefits first-hand, such as access to a broader range of experienced teachers and potentially lower costs.
While some teachers on LanguaTalk may offer in-person conversational classes in their local area, the majority specialize in online teaching. This approach is more convenient for them, allowing flexibility and the comfort of working from home. Most teachers are not based in Hamburg and are spread across the globe, so if you're looking for a class with LanguaTalk, you should anticipate an online learning experience.
If you're new to LanguaTalk, we'll provide you with a credit for a free trial lesson. Many, but not all, tutor offer these for free. If they do not, the price will be reduced to 30 percent of their full lesson price, so you can still try a session at a minimal cost.
Trial lessons are 30 minutes long. They allow you to evaluate whether the tutor is a good fit for you and experience learning online. The tutor will assess your level and try to understand your needs and interests so they can customize any lessons you decide to take. You will be encouraged to speak in Spanish as much as possible, but you can also speak in English if needed.
If, after your trial lesson, you don't feel that the tutor is right for you, you can schedule a trial lesson with another tutor for 30 percent of their full lesson price.
The advantage of taking lessons online is that you can learn at any time and from any location. When you select a tutor, check their calendar to ensure that they have available slots that fit your schedule. Some tutor may have limited availability due to high demand from other students.
