Teaching Spanish is one of my passions, and I love seeing my students become passionate about learning and improving their skills every day. I firmly believe that learning Spanish should be fun, exciting, and inspiring. My main goal is for my students to learn, improve, and achieve their goals. In my classes, we will focus not only on grammar but also on pronunciation, comprehension, interaction, and writing. You will learn by speaking, reading, writing, and listening. You will improve your Spanish through simple explanations, and we will focus on your interests and hobbies. All my classes include a personalized study plan, audiovisual materials, assignments, and tests.

I have been a Spanish teacher (ELE) since 2019. I studied at the Center for Applied Linguistics (CELA), the Cálamo & Cran training center, ELE International, and the European University Miguel de Cervantes. I also hold a degree in Philology and a Master’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Salamanca, and I have been an official examiner of the DELE exams since 2024. In my classes, I apply an eclectic and communicative method, tailored to the needs of my students. I’m a native and qualified Spanish teacher who has been living and teaching in London and other parts around the world for more than 10 years both online and face-to-face.

My experience teaching these subjects varies in ages, from 6 to 87 years old across different nationalities, backgrounds and abilities.

I have a lot of of experience with kids and adults (A1-C2) and GCSE’s, A-levels and DELE preparation, conversation, writing, reading, pronunciation, extra help with homework, etc. I teach individuals and groups.

My classes are always tailored to my students needs and are dynamic, fun and with tons of practice! I use online books, audio and many visual elements.

Me gusta ser un profesor útil, que cada clase aproveche el tiempo, con planificación pero también con espacio para la improvisación y para el uso del español en un entorno relajado. 

Tengo experiencia en clases online y presenciales de español: mi método se basa fundamentalmente en la conversación (adquirir soltura) y en adquirir de forma práctica conocimientos gramaticales y de vocabulario. Mis intereses son, entre otros, la música, las finanzas, la agricultura local, el ajedrez, la actualidad política, la psicología y la lectura.

I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.
