Hola!

My name is Samuel and I live in Madrid. In 2013 I got my Spanish teacher Certificate and since then I have been teaching Spanish in many language schools -in person and the last two years mainly online due to the pandemic. I have also taught group classes and individual one to one classes in companies. I have also helped many students to pass DELE exams.

I have a Philosophy Degree as well from Universidad Complutense. Madrid. I also really love to talk about a wide range of topics. I enjoy listening and learning from my students. Everyone has interesting things to say. With me,  you will be talking about things you like without noticing you are doing it in Spanish.

I can share with you many books, videos, infographics, newspaper articles etc in pdf format so that we have always fresh and juicy material to discuss. These last ones are a fantastic complement because sometimes the standard books for learning might be designed –what is fine- for generic purposes. Pdf files are included in the price.

I have taught students from every corner of the world and from  very different  backgrounds. I love learning from my students while I am teaching them.

I speak very fluent English so even if your knowledge of Spanish is 0 don’t be afraid. You will always be comfortable in my classes. I am also learning French so I haven’t forgotten how does it feel to be a beginner ;)

My name is Lorena. I am from Barcelona, I have lived in UK and Japan and now I live in Asturias, in the north of Spain. I love cats, travelling, getting to know people from all over the world and, of course, languages. I speak Spanish, Catalan, English, Japanese and a little bit of French. I have been a qualified teacher for 10 years, I am Spanish although I have lived in many different countries. My mother tongue is Spanish but I also speak English, Portuguese and a little French. My name is Melina and I am from Peru. I studied foreign languages at the National University of Cajamarca in the north of Peru and I got a degree in Education – Foreign languages. I speak Spanish (native) and English (B2) very well.

I will help you to learn Spanish for you to achieve your specific goals taking into account your needs, your level and your learning process. Our lessons will include videos, everyday Spanish conversations, slides and more. We will also have cultural activities such as gastronomy, music and tourism. The four skills to learn a foreign language will be included as well: reading, writing, listening and speaking, and you will also have the grammar so that you can understand the language and produce it.

Hi my name is Jose, Spanish but after living some years in Ireland and in France I know first hand how difficult is to learn a new language.

I am qualified Spanish teacher from Málaga (Spain). I lived and taught in London for over 14 years before moving back to Málaga in 2019. I gained my Certificate for Spanish Teaching to Adults in 2011 from International House School of Languages, and I also have a Cambridge CELTA (for English teaching) from the same school, completed in 2020. 

I have taught Spanish to business professionals, at University, to GCSE, A Level and DELE students, and to learners who just take lessons for travelling or self-improvement. My previous and current students all come from multiple backgrounds, nationalities, abilities and levels of Spanish, from total beginner to advanced.

In my classes you will start communicating by simple dialogues (simple if you're a beginner) from the first lesson. I will focus on improving your pronunciation (something often overlooked by teachers); teaching you the grammar gradually, so you don't feel overwhelmed; enriching your vocabulary prioritizing your needs and personal interests; and improving your fluency. My students often praise my patience, my well-planned lessons and the fact that they feel relaxed to learn in class. I consider myself to be a very patience, disciplined, kind and creative person.

I am passionate about history, pastries, literature, linguistics, animals ( 100% dog lover! 🐕) and, of course, languages. So if you are interested in any of those topics we’ll make a good match :]

And if you don’t, that’s ok! I find very nourishing learning about topics outside my comfort zone.

I speak Spanish since i am a native speaker from Peru, with a neutral accent. I do speak English fluently, German and a bit of Japanese also.

I use a methodology based on research and methods proven by psychologists and teachers. My classes are ALWAYS prepared and structured to meet your needs. The methodologies i use are:

1️⃣ TPRS  (Teaching Proficiency Through Reading and Storytelling) and comprehensible input -> For learning grammar and vocabulary in a engaging, stress-free way!

2️⃣ Breaking down your favorite songs, stories and articles -> To practice reading, vocab and pronunciation!

3️⃣ Direct method (speaking only in Spanish for intermediate or advanced students) -> To strengthen your speaking and listening abilities

ALSO, i always explain grammar step by step and provide flashcards to remember vocabulary (based on the science proved method “Spaced repetition”).

I provide each of my students a personalized plan and homework based on their goals, needs and way of learning.
