The starting point is you and I, two human beings trying to connect through the language. If you tell me in advance about your intentions of taking to the next level a specific skill, for a specific purpose, I will help you to go through tailored challenges while still having me on your side!  

Our conversations can be as random or planned as you want. And they can get as simple or deep as you want (and can). Depending on the nature of our time together, I can introduce you to all kinds of content produced by native speakers and use these resources with you. Come as you are and feel free to make mistakes! I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.

¡Hola! My name is María and I'm from Mexico. 

I have 3 years of teaching experience. I majored in Languages from Universidad de las Américas Puebla and I obtained a certification to teach Spanish as a foreign language. My classes use a blended methodology that incorporates grammar and communication activities in a laid-back and dynamic way. I have hand picked or created all the materials according to the needs of my students and I often use resources like audios, videos and games to make the lesson more interactive. My main goal is to help my students feel comfortable expressing themselves and learn at their own pace.

My favorite part of language teaching is getting to know the cultures and interests of my students. I'd be happy to work on a plan that fits your needs. You don't need any previous experience learning Spanish or a foreign language. Since I am also a doctoral student I only have a limited number of hours. However, I have a flexible schedule and if you don’t see a time that works for you we can discuss an alternative during the trial lesson.

Hello everyone! I do not teach A1 A2 levels. I am Itziar and I am a Spanish teacher. I am currently living in Spain but I lived in different countries in the past. I am a native speaker with a neutral Spanish accent. My pronunciation is clear and easy to understand. I love teaching Spanish to international students and I am happy to see them making progress  learning the language. I have four years of experience teaching Spanish to students from all over the world.

This way, you will sound more natural when speaking not only Spanish but other languages you intend to learn in the future. I use a variety of resources such as textbooks, presentations, online activities, articles, music, and videos to cater for your learning needs and style, stimulate discussion, and help you reach your language goals in no time.

Hello everyone! My name is Clara, I am a Spanish teacher from Madrid. I have 5 years of experience as Spanish, French and German teacher (face to face and online). I have taught students from different countries.

I prepare my own materials to adapt lessons to each student, and we use too the book "Aula internacional" for general Spanish courses.

I teach courses to pass DELE (Spanish exam) by using different teaching methods: I explain the grammar points needed for the exam, I provide vocabulary worksheets focus on DELE, and we practice different tests samples (you do not need to buy any preparation book, because I will provide you all the materials you will need to pass DELE, and these materials are based on the most famous DELE methods and DELE books such as ´Las claves del nuevo DELE` or ´Preparación al DELE`)

Also, I do conversational courses. I have two conversational courses: the first one is focused on general conversation about daily life, and the second one is focused on specific topics (technology, education, health, environment, Spanish culture, Spanish history...; depending on the students preferences).

Periodic written and spoken assessments will ensure we stay on course. 

I will create flashcards for you to review the notes of each lesson and provide detailed homework to ensure you use your time effectively outside our lessons too!
 

My name is Mercedes and I am from a beautiful city in the south of Spain called Cádiz.

I have been teaching Spanish for many years now ( +3000 hours taught online) and during this time I have learnt a lot teaching both online and in person as I was able to start my teaching path in the lovely capital city of Scotland, Edinburgh 💙

I am certified as a Spanish language teacher through International House, a worldwide Organization that stands up for a communicative method.

My experience has taught me how effective it is to create a relaxed and calmed working environment in which both the student and the teacher feel comfortable working together towards a specific goal.

I have helped students to learn Spanish for many purposes: traveling in Latino América or España, planning to do El Camino de Santiago, improving your attention and memory, doing an exam or even planning to move to a Spanish speaking country.

My teaching style is different from the traditional approach we have had in schools since childhood.

I use what is called "Inductive Method". First, we will get into context to the topic through a video, an image, a reading, etc. Then we will learn the grammar or vocabulary concept to be introduced that day, and then we will do a good practice to internalize it.
