Hello my name is Maria, I’m from Germany and currently I live in Bolivia.

I myself was raised multilingual and I live in a foreign country. So, I know how hard and sometimes even frustrating it can be to learn a language. That’s why I would like to help you. If you are a beginner its best to start with some structure. So, vocabulary, grammar and the structure of a sentence in general. If you are already advanced, we can concentrate on pronunciation and conversation. Of course, always in connection with listening, reading and writing.

I already helped some students to prepare for their Goethe and Telc Test in the Levels A1 to C1.

Depending on your level in German, we come up with topics to talk about in order to practice your conversation skills: travel, politics, the cities we live in, art, culture, the news, your job, your dreams and goals - anything :) It doesn't matter if you're fluent or not, I will adjust to your level (B1 and up) so that you don't feel overwhelmed. Language learning should be fun! 

Corrections and suggestions will be provided in the chat box. (this is not a grammar class though so explanations will be kept brief to focus on the conversation and improving fluency.

Given my background as a Communications Director at a global company I'm also happy to include business topics if that's of interest to you. (as well Mock Interview Sessions are possible)

My classes are NOT for beginners. As it is a conversation class, you must be able to hold at least a basic conversation (B1 level or higher)

I am a German native speaker from Austria who loves languages and am passionate about teaching others. I work as language teacher in a school, teach adults at the German Culture Center and prepare my students for all types of official language exams. Hello, my name is Luca-Curtis, I am 29 years old and live in changing countries in Asia.

Until recently, I was employed as a teacher at a school for two years, teaching German as a foreign and second language and physical education from 5th to 10th grade. I spent one year alone in Asia- and one year in Africa, gaining experience in teaching there. I was teaching at the time as part of volunteer work and also privately.

If someone were to describe me, they would say that I am funny, professional, patient and attentive.

I love to travel, be at festivals and do sports (all sports).

I am certified by the Goehte Institute and have over 5 years of experience in teaching German as a foreign and second language.

In general, you will talk a lot and I will correct you. Orally and in writing. We will keep a record of all corrections in GoogleDocs, which will also be available to you after our lessons, so that you can always refer back to it.

Hello! My name is Simon and I come from Germany. For many years, I lived abroad, working and studying in East Timor, Italy, Russia, Jordan and France. Living abroad, I always struggled not knowing the local language and developed a passion to do my best and learn these languages. 

Today I speak 7 languages. To get there, I developed many techniques and methods that helped me improve my grammar, understanding and speaking. Since I started teaching, I have helped more than 50 people and gathered over 2000 teaching hours of experience. I hope to share these techniques with you and help you reach your language learning goals.

My name is Nina, I grew up in Berlin, Germany, but I´ve lived in the most northern German federal state for ten years now.

For me it is very important to create a pleasant atmosphere and to teach German with fun! Since i am a foreign language learner myself, i can also give you some tips on language learning, e.g. how to remember the articles? Or how do I remember the accusative/dative? I know some creative techniques :)

I´ve studied Linguistics and German/German as a foreign language and I have 7 years of teaching experience (mostly beginner level). I´ve been teaching German for a few years at a school (A1-B1) and at a University of Applied Science (Fachhochschule- Studienkolleg, B2-C1) and I teach German online since July 2022 and focus on the BEGINNER-levels up to B1. As you can see in my video, I can speak slowly and clearly for beginners. Due to my linguistic studies I can also help you with pronunciation and have many tips and exercises to help you improve your pronunciation.

I am well organized and have a lot of material at my disposal, also for self-learning if desired. In addition, I supplement the lessons with exercises in which you are active. I also use videos/songs and games in my lessons. We will set your goals at the beginning and we will work at your pace. In my lessons, you will learn to communicate in everyday situations. Of course you will also learn to read, write & understand German.

A little bit about myself: I´m very interested in languages, at the moment I`m learning Arabic, so I know what it is like to learn a new language. I am a qualified native German teacher (PGCE) from a town near Dortmund and I have been teaching German as a foreign language for over 30 years in a Grammar school setting in Northern Ireland. I have experience in the following: -

• Teaching students to GCSE and A level examinations in my school and privately.
• Prepared students of all ages for the Goethe Institute level A2 and B1 examination.
• Teaching the Junior and Leaving Higher Certificate in German.

My teaching is as varied as my students are. I often use the online version of the textbook recommended  by the Goethe Institute "Berliner Platz" A1, A2 and B1 level. I adapt my learning style to suit individual needs should you prefer conversational German or a more grammar focused lesson. I make the lesson enjoyable by including up to date teaching materials and refer to websites that will give the learner an insight into German culture as well, whenever possible, play quizzes such as Kahoot.

Some facts about me: I was born in Spain and raised in Germany, so Spanish and German are my native languages, but I also speak English (C1 level), French (B2 level), and a little bit of Portuguese. Over the last 30 years I have taught languages (English, German, and Spanish) to children and adults of all ages and levels. I've helped several students to pass different language exams.

I have been tutoring foreign languages such as French and Spanish at a tutoring institute for over a year. I have worked for 6 month in a German language school in Medellín, Colombia. There, I taught a group of 10 persons online at the A2 level. I also gave additional lessons in grammar or vocabulary for the levels A1 to B2.

I work with the immersive learning method. This means that I speak with you mostly in German during class and only in exceptional cases in another language. In this way, new words and phrases can be learned subconsciously while you get used to speaking in the foreign language. No worries, I explain the grammar as easily and understandably as possible.

As teaching materials, I use, for example, song lyrics and texts from media on topics that interest you.

I only use authentic materials (books from Klett, Hueber, Cornelsen; blogs, music, videos by Germans), lots of interactive exercises, games. I organize the lessons so that 80% of the lessons are spoken by the student. We have conversations, discuss current problems in the life of Germans and other peoples.
