Hi! My name is Vanessa, I am from Peru and I currently live in Washington State, in the US. Besides being fluent in Spanish and English, I speak Portuguese (C1) and French(B1).

I have been teaching online since 2018. Being a language learner myself, I know what the most common challenges are when learning a language and the most successful ways to overcome them.

In my opinion, the easiest and most memorable way of learning is having fun during the process. My training as a Spanish instructor is based on studies of Spanish grammar and using the communicative approach methodology that is based on practical and simple activities that help develop skills such as oral expression, listening comprehension, writing with dictation and reading as well. Of course phonetics is included. Each class focuses on the specific needs of each student.

In each class I emphasize oral practice to help students feel confident to express themselves naturally in specific situations.

In some cases, the grammatical structure is included in a simplified and dynamic way, and the grammatical concepts may or may not be used in our class, depending on the interests or preferences of each student.

Also, I like to share the history and culture of my country and Latin America through the practice of Spanish as a natural practice for intermediate and advanced Spanish.

I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.

My name is Cristina and I’m a Spanish / Catalan native speaker from Valencia (Spain).

I have also a postgraduate certificate in Modern Foreign Languages Teaching from Canterbury Christ Church University. Apart from my university degrees, I hold certificates in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and in professional proofreading from European University of Madrid. And if that is not enough for you I am also an examiner for the Cervantes Institute, and that means that I  know perfectly how DELE exam works ;)
2.  I have 4 years of experience in teaching Spanish as a second language in a secondary school and a private company in Italy and another year of teaching experience in two Secondary schools in England. I also have 4 years of experience teaching adults in online platforms (+1500 hours taught).
3.  I use a communicative methodology. That is, I analyse your needs to create tailored and challenging lessons with the best resources to communicate and write clearly and effectively.
4.  I can guarantee a friendly and supportive environment during our lessons.

Hi! I'm Agustina from a small town in Córdoba, Argentina. This town was founded by Germans and the have build the first German school in the province. I visited this school and that was where I had my first contact with a foreign language. I love learning them but also teaching them because it is the most natural and efficient way to exchange ideas and learn about other cultures. In my city, Córdoba, I studied to become a German Translator and thanks to an agreement between universities I had the opportunity to do two exchanges in Germany. They were incredible experiences in which I met many interesting people, made friends and visited beautiful places. 

Besides Spanish, German and English I also have an elementary level of Russian. 

My hobbies are writing in my literary blog, doing sports and yoga, going out with friends, dancing and making crafts. 

I have 3 years of experience as an online teacher and I use several didactic resources to make the class entertaining and to provide you with an ideal environment for concentration and language learning.
