Teaching Spanish is one of my passions, and I love seeing my students become passionate about learning and improving their skills every day. I firmly believe that learning Spanish should be fun, exciting, and inspiring. My main goal is for my students to learn, improve, and achieve their goals. In my classes, we will focus not only on grammar but also on pronunciation, comprehension, interaction, and writing. You will learn by speaking, reading, writing, and listening. You will improve your Spanish through simple explanations, and we will focus on your interests and hobbies. All my classes include a personalized study plan, audiovisual materials, assignments, and tests.

I have been a Spanish teacher (ELE) since 2019. I studied at the Center for Applied Linguistics (CELA), the Cálamo & Cran training center, ELE International, and the European University Miguel de Cervantes. I also hold a degree in Philology and a Master’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Salamanca, and I have been an official examiner of the DELE exams since 2024. In my classes, I apply an eclectic and communicative method, tailored to the needs of my students. I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.

I prefer to teach grammar with  examples because they contain chunks of grammar that we will later encounter in other phrases and grammar constructions. You will create your examples and incorporate the grammar rules. We will learn grammar from real-life scenarios where people communicate naturally their thoughts, following a communicative learning approach. We will also work on Google Sheets, which you will always have access to and where we can work on and save all of our learning sessions.

I will send you homework regularly just so you can work on your Spanish in between every session that we have. 

I encourage you to focus on the process rather than the outcome. IIf we trust the process, we make progress! Falling in love with the journey of language acquisition is the most rewarding path by far. 

So far I've learned that certain teaching methods are best suited to specific students. Each student has their own preferred learning style and unique goals, and yours will be a guide for me to personalize your lessons.

Graduated in Hispanic Philology and Masters in Applied French, I have always kept up with my teaching training and have also completed a CELTA course for English teachers. This further training has provided me with the familiarity to different teaching methodologies, which have proven to be extremely useful in my classes.

I have worked as a Spanish teacher for 13 years, both in-person and online. My job duties typically include designing and delivering Spanish courses for all levels. Also a 13 year-experienced translator. I have recently worked on a project which involved developping Spanish lessons and units to be delivered online, so I am used to creating content of my own.

My teaching method is mostly conversational and based on a combination of skills. I use plenty of audiovisuals and various activities to get students to speak. My constant interest in professional training has allowed me to become familiar with techniques and tools that are essential in today´s second language learning.

Hello! I am Blanca, a Mexican teacher with a Diploma in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language. I also have a Master's Degree in Psychology and have published a couple of books.  

I love reading, traveling, and discovering new cultures. I have lived abroad and I know what it's like to be in your shoes when it comes to learning a new language because I'm a language learner myself.

I'm a 26 year old, Biochemist so I'm a native speaker in Spanish who specializes in biological, chemical and medicinal Spanish. But I'm not just a scientist, I'm also a teacher. I've been teaching spanish and biology for four years to both kids and adults and a class in the University as well.
