While I don’t assign homework unless requested, I enjoy keeping in touch with my students by sharing curated French content—videos, podcasts, songs, and more—to complement our sessions and immerse you further in the language.

My teaching style?My approach is relaxed yet effective, blending cultural insights with practical language skills. Together, we’ll explore how French is spoken in daily life, from casual conversations to nuanced expressions used by native speakers. I correct mistakes using the "silent method," which means you can speak freely without interruptions. At the end of each session, I’ll provide feedback and actionable tips to help you improve with each conversation. A little about me. I’m a native French speaker from Northern France, though my friends like to call me a “woman with a suitcase” because of my love for travel and exploring new places. My journey to teaching wasn’t a traditional one, but I’ve been passionately teaching French for three years now. What inspires me most is seeing my students achieve their goals and grow more confident in their language skills. 

I’m always thinking about new ways to help French learners succeed. Recently, I’ve introduced the idea of French immersion stays, offering a unique opportunity for students to practice the language in a fully immersive environment while experiencing authentic French culture.

In your first class, we will discuss your GOALS and evaluate your LEVEL, so I can prepare a TAILOR-MADE program for you! With a bachelor's in applied modern languages and in the process of doing a Master's in French as a foreign language, I am very passionate about language learning and teaching my native tongue, french!  I have been teaching French for 8 years online and offline to people of various ages. I am familiar with the DELF A1-B2 examinations and also teach casual pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar.

I like to adapt my lessons according to the levels and goals of my students. I work with beginners to B2 intermediate level. My main goal is for you to come out of my lessons feeling more confident in the language. 

For the trial lesson:

- I will first send you a Google docs document. This document is for you to have access to the lesson plans before the lesson and for you to add your own notes. 

- In the first few minutes, I usually ask for you to present yourself and what you expect out of our lessons.  

- I like to start with some simple exercises to see how you feel about grammar, reading, listening, and speaking. 

If you want to focus on speaking only we will do various speaking exercises for you to be more confident in the language. If you want to practice for the DELF A1 to B2 exams or any examinations in your school/university we will work on whichever section you feel needs the most work. If you are here to have fun, you're welcome to join and have relaxing lessons on any theme or subject that sparks your interest!
