I consider myself to be a very patience, disciplined, kind and creative person.

I am passionate about history, pastries, literature, linguistics, animals ( 100% dog lover! 🐕) and, of course, languages. So if you are interested in any of those topics we’ll make a good match :]

And if you don’t, that’s ok! I find very nourishing learning about topics outside my comfort zone.

I speak Spanish since i am a native speaker from Peru, with a neutral accent. I do speak English fluently, German and a bit of Japanese also.

✨ Methodology

I use a methodology based on research and methods proven by psychologists and teachers. My classes are ALWAYS prepared and structured to meet your needs. The methodologies i use are:

1️⃣ TPRS  (Teaching Proficiency Through Reading and Storytelling) and comprehensible input -> For learning grammar and vocabulary in a engaging, stress-free way!

2️⃣ Breaking down your favorite songs, stories and articles -> To practice reading, vocab and pronunciation!

3️⃣ Direct method (speaking only in Spanish for intermediate or advanced students) -> To strengthen your speaking and listening abilities

ALSO, i always explain grammar step by step and provide flashcards to remember vocabulary (based on the science proved method “Spaced repetition”).

I provide each of my students a personalized plan and homework based on their goals, needs and way of learning.

I do believe that the ability we have for learning is truly a gift, as i said in the video “The ability to learn is a seed that, with love and  discipline, can grow into a beautiful flower or a juicy fruit”. My name is Lorena. I am from Barcelona, I have lived in UK and Japan and now I live in Asturias, in the north of Spain. I love cats, travelling, getting to know people from all over the world and, of course, languages. I speak Spanish, Catalan, English, Japanese and a little bit of French. So I can also give you some advice having being a language student myself. 

I have been teaching for more than 16 years and I have 9 years of experience as an online teacher. I love technology, it helps teachers to adapt our classes to students with different learning styles and it makes it easier to provide an immersion experience as well. I have a Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and I am a certified DELE examiner so I can help you pass an exam as well.

I have been a qualified teacher for 10 years, I am Spanish although I have lived in many different countries. My mother tongue is Spanish but I also speak English, Portuguese and a little French. Teaching Spanish is my passion. The part I like the most about my job is the opportunity to meet different people and learn from them while they enjoy learning Spanish.

Graduated in Hispanic Philology and Masters in Applied French, I have always kept up with my teaching training and have also completed a CELTA course for English teachers. This further training has provided me with the familiarity to different teaching methodologies, which have proven to be extremely useful in my classes.

I have worked as a Spanish teacher for 13 years, both in-person and online. My job duties typically include designing and delivering Spanish courses for all levels. Also a 13 year-experienced translator. I have recently worked on a project which involved developping Spanish lessons and units to be delivered online, so I am used to creating content of my own.

My teaching method is mostly conversational and based on a combination of skills. I use plenty of audiovisuals and various activities to get students to speak. My constant interest in professional training has allowed me to become familiar with techniques and tools that are essential in today´s second language learning.

My lessons are all similarly structured: a grammar point, a few exercises to get started, then controlled practice, and finally an audio or a video related to the topic.

My name is Karim and I hold a degree in Foreign Languages and a certificate as a Language Teacher from the University of Cambridge. I am qualified Spanish teacher from Málaga (Spain). I lived and taught in London for over 14 years before moving back to Málaga in 2019. I gained my Certificate for Spanish Teaching to Adults in 2011 from International House School of Languages, and I also have a Cambridge CELTA (for English teaching) from the same school, completed in 2020. 

I have taught Spanish to business professionals, at University, to GCSE, A Level and DELE students, and to learners who just take lessons for travelling or self-improvement. My previous and current students all come from multiple backgrounds, nationalities, abilities and levels of Spanish, from total beginner to advanced.

In my classes you will start communicating by simple dialogues (simple if you're a beginner) from the first lesson. I will focus on improving your pronunciation (something often overlooked by teachers); teaching you the grammar gradually, so you don't feel overwhelmed; enriching your vocabulary prioritizing your needs and personal interests; and improving your fluency. My students often praise my patience, my well-planned lessons and the fact that they feel relaxed to learn in class. I welcome mistakes (and correct them of course!) as a sure sign that learning is happening. You do learn a lot from your mistakes. 

As a lifelong lover of the arts and a practicing artist, I like to give my classes a cultural flavour, sharing relevant information about music, films, books and art.

Hi! I'm Agustina from a small town in Córdoba, Argentina. This town was founded by Germans and the have build the first German school in the province. I visited this school and that was where I had my first contact with a foreign language. I love learning them but also teaching them because it is the most natural and efficient way to exchange ideas and learn about other cultures. In my city, Córdoba, I studied to become a German Translator and thanks to an agreement between universities I had the opportunity to do two exchanges in Germany. They were incredible experiences in which I met many interesting people, made friends and visited beautiful places. 

Besides Spanish, German and English I also have an elementary level of Russian. 

My hobbies are writing in my literary blog, doing sports and yoga, going out with friends, dancing and making crafts. 

I have 3 years of experience as an online teacher and I use several didactic resources to make the class entertaining and to provide you with an ideal environment for concentration and language learning. 

I enjoy creating my own teaching materials.

I work with the communicative method and focus my classes to the interests of the students. I like it when my students can loosen up and become more confident with me and the language and can start talking more. 

I work with different materials, I don't like to be glued to a book all the time, but I do like to use it for support and for some important grammatical questions. 

I like to use the material I design as my classes are personalized to the interests of each student. 

The support materials I normaly use are the books Aula Internacional and Prisma, as well as some websites that are excellent in terms of content and design and also very didactic, such as ProfedeELE or TodoELE, among others.
