I am Alberto, a highly-skilled and dedicated Spanish teacher from Spain. I specialize in teaching Spanish both to children and adults, using interactive and fun methods to make learning a language enjoyable and engaging for everyone. As a native speaker of both Spanish and Italian, I bring a unique perspective to my lessons. I have traveled extensively and have a wealth of experience in different roles, including manufacturing, restaurants, and even as an electrician. I later set up a travel agency and hostel which greatly enriched my cultural knowledge.

Teaching Spanish is one of my passions, and I love seeing my students become passionate about learning and improving their skills every day. I firmly believe that learning Spanish should be fun, exciting, and inspiring. My main goal is for my students to learn, improve, and achieve their goals. In my classes, we will focus not only on grammar but also on pronunciation, comprehension, interaction, and writing. You will learn by speaking, reading, writing, and listening. You will improve your Spanish through simple explanations, and we will focus on your interests and hobbies. I have been a Spanish teacher (ELE) since 2019. I studied at the Center for Applied Linguistics (CELA), the Cálamo & Cran training center, ELE International, and the European University Miguel de Cervantes. I also hold a degree in Philology and a Master’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Salamanca, and I have been an official examiner of the DELE exams since 2024. In my classes, I apply an eclectic and communicative method, tailored to the needs of my students. My training as a Spanish instructor is based on studies of Spanish grammar and using the communicative approach methodology that is based on practical and simple activities that help develop skills such as oral expression, listening comprehension, writing with dictation and reading as well. Of course phonetics is included. Each class focuses on the specific needs of each student.

In each class I emphasize oral practice to help students feel confident to express themselves naturally in specific situations.

In some cases, the grammatical structure is included in a simplified and dynamic way, and the grammatical concepts may or may not be used in our class, depending on the interests or preferences of each student.

Also, I like to share the history and culture of my country and Latin America through the practice of Spanish as a natural practice for intermediate and advanced Spanish.
