Hola!
My name is Samuel and I live in Madrid. In 2013 I got my Spanish teacher Certificate and since then I have been teaching Spanish in many language schools -in person and the last two years mainly online due to the pandemic. I have also taught group classes and individual one to one classes in companies. I have also helped many students to pass DELE exams.
I have a Philosophy Degree as well from Universidad Complutense. Madrid. I also really love to talk about a wide range of topics. I enjoy listening and learning from my students. Everyone has interesting things to say. With me, you will be talking about things you like without noticing you are doing it in Spanish.
I can share with you many books, videos, infographics, newspaper articles etc in pdf format so that we have always fresh and juicy material to discuss. These last ones are a fantastic complement because sometimes the standard books for learning might be designed –what is fine- for generic purposes. Pdf files are included in the price.
I have taught students from every corner of the world and from very different backgrounds. I love learning from my students while I am teaching them.
I speak very fluent English so even if your knowledge of Spanish is 0 don’t be afraid. You will always be comfortable in my classes. I am also learning French so I haven’t forgotten how does it feel to be a beginner ;)
I hope to see you soon!
¡Nos vemos!

Do you want to speak Spanish naturally and feel comfortable in real conversations — not just pass tests? I understand how hard it is to turn grammar knowledge into confident speaking. I’ll make you feel relaxed, supported and excited to practice.
I’m a native Spanish speaker (also fluent in Italian), teaching full-time since 2021, with 5,000+ hours of lessons and many glowing reviews from students of all ages. I create a personalised study plan after an initial assessment and send short pre-class materials (readings, listening exercises, vocabulary and grammar notes) so you arrive ready to use what you learn.
Lessons are 1:1 and tailored to your goals — conversation-focused because that’s the hardest and most useful part. We’ll start by clearing doubts and correcting mistakes, then spend most of the time speaking about topics you care about: travel, work, daily life, culture, or exam practice. I’ve prepared students for DELE exams (A2 → C1) who passed successfully.
What I offer:
Warm, patient teacher who makes lessons comfortable and fun
Flexible scheduling (including kids) and materials for every class
Deep knowledge of Latin American and Spanish regional differences from living and traveling across the continent
Book a trial lesson and let’s design a plan that fits your level and goals — I’ll help you speak with confidence.

Hi! My name is Vanessa, I am from Peru and I currently live in Washington State, in the US. Besides being fluent in Spanish and English, I speak Portuguese (C1) and French(B1).
I have been teaching online since 2018. Being a language learner myself, I know what the most common challenges are when learning a language and the most successful ways to overcome them.
In my opinion, the easiest and most memorable way of learning is having fun during the process. That is why I aim to provide you with a supportive, engaging and thought-provoking environment in which your oral production will take the lead role. Having said that, I am very flexible, and I will adjust my methods according to your specific needs and requirements. On every session, corrections made will be provided on a customized Google doc, so that you can always refer to it whenever you want to study and keep track of our lessons.
It will be my pleasure to help you to build up your confidence and fluency in Spanish. See you soon!

My name is Mercedes and I am from a beautiful city in the south of Spain called Cádiz.
I have been teaching Spanish for many years now ( +3000 hours taught online) and during this time I have learnt a lot teaching both online and in person as I was able to start my teaching path in the lovely capital city of Scotland, Edinburgh 💙
I am certified as a Spanish language teacher through International House, a worldwide Organization that stands up for a communicative method.
My experience has taught me how effective it is to create a relaxed and calmed working environment in which both the student and the teacher feel comfortable working together towards a specific goal.
I offer a close accompaniment and guidance to discover the fundamental mechanism of the language. I will take into account where we start from and your goals for learning Spanish.
I am a person with extensive experience teaching adults, from basic to advanced levels. I have helped students to learn Spanish for many purposes: traveling in Latino América or España, planning to do El Camino de Santiago, improving your attention and memory, doing an exam or even planning to move to a Spanish speaking country.
My teaching style is different from the traditional approach we have had in schools since childhood.
First, we will get into context to the topic through a video, an image, a reading, etc. Then we will learn the grammar or vocabulary concept to be introduced that day, and then we will do a good practice to internalize it.
If you are curious to find out more, why not book an initial free consultation with me? :) I will be happy to hear about your reasons for wanting to learn Spanish.
¡Te espero! 🙋♀️

I cover all levels and have experience in conversational classes. Every class is adapted to the student's level and will tailored to your needs.
Practical, conversational Spanish includes lots of activities, like word games, guess the word, creating stories using different tenses...
But if you prefer, we can also have dictations, make grammar exercises or choose online resources or magazine articles to talk about.
And, about me... I was born and raised in Spain (Burgos), and still living here. I love languages and always try to help as much as I can.
Book a trial so we can discuss your needs, I can answer your questions, and we can practice some Spanish!

My lessons are directed to students of all levels looking to develop their own speaking and writing style in Spanish. I believe that the creative drive is one of the most powerful accelerators of learning and in particular, language learning; so my classes involve acting exercises, fun writing prompts, vocal training akin to singers' training, and a variety of further creative work.
We will work on near perfect pronunciation through vocal practice that takes from singing practice, but focuses on diction. You'll become aware of how the muscles of your mouth and face create sound, and how using different resonance points throughout your face will get you to reproduce just the sound you were stuck with. Muscle memory, baby!
Fluency in articulating your own thoughts and essence in Spanish is achievable through writing prompts that do feel important for you. To write about a topic that actually matters to you, I'll provide you with beautiful vocabulary words, and we'll get through grammatical forms that may better encapsulate your ideas and feelings. I will help you make Spanish your own.
If you are wanting to absorb a particular part of Hispanic or Latino culture (e.g. Rosalía's composition, rap music, particular accents, reggeaton's lyrics), we will investigate and go through the elements at interest to get you to the point of creation. If you are a musician or a writer, I can help you use the rhythmic essence of Spanish in your own art. Hit me up!
Within every technique I use, I work with my knowledge of neural connection strengthening and weakening, all facilitated through repetition, reward, understanding and reprogramming of reflexes, investigation of previous outdated strategies, etc. Emotional management is key to success, and we'll work on that in your training just as much as in the linguistic side.

*NOT TAKING ANY NEW STUDENTS AT THE MOMENT*: my schedule is about to change completely, so I won't be taking any new students for the rest of the year. Sorry for the inconvenience!
MSc in Speech Therapy and Cognitive Neuroscience, BA in Spanish Linguistics and Literature, and Diploma in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
📍Native speaker/Colombian.
📚 Spanish teacher since 2014. Experience with students of all levels- from beginner to advanced.
✏️Tailored curriculum for all students with activities and materials that reflect the actual use of Spanish E.g. audio, ads, texts, and interviews of native speakers.
📝In my grammar classes, the students receive detailed information on grammar issues following a designed curriculum that goes from A1 (beginner) level to C1-C2 (advanced) level. When practicing, we have a conversation and I give feedback using what they've learned.
In the conversation lessons, we focus on speaking and listening. I always promote debate and offer necessary corrections. We can cover a range of topics, e.g., current events, culture, science, philosophy, or even a topic proposed by the student beforehand.

Our research suggests that the average cost for private Spanish lessons in Pensacola is somewhere between $25-$35 per hour. As online tutors do not need to travel to you and they often live in countries with a lower cost of living, the hourly cost tends to be significantly lower.
Sometimes students tell us that they're not sure about learning Spanish online because they think it’ll be completely different to learning face-to-face. But usually when they try it, they find that the experience is almost the same and they often build a solid relationship with their tutor.
Once you start a video call with your chosen tutor, you’ll be able to communicate with them as if you were in the same room. The tutor will typically also share learning resources with you (newspaper articles, YouTube, etc.) and you’ll be able to collaborate in real-time using a tool like Google Docs or Dropbox Paper.
Whether you live in the city centre or the suburbs of Pensacola, there are many options for learning Spanish. You could use an app or a software program if you're looking to pick up basic vocabulary and learn some grammar rules. Alternatively, you could attend group lessons with Spanish tutors in Pensacola if you're keen for a social experience. Or, you could take 1-on-1 lessons with a private tutor. This isn't the cheapest way to learn a language but it's possibly the most effective, assuming you have a good tutor. Learning online rather than face-to-face may make private tutors a more affordable option. Check the tutor profiles above to see how much it's likely to cost. Prices vary a lot depending on the tutor, but will usually be cheaper than learning with a Spanish tutor in Pensacola, face-to-face.
Tutors on LanguaTalk sometimes provide lessons locally, but most only provide online lessons as it is more convenient and allows them to work from home. In addition, most tutors are not teaching Spanish in Pensacola because they're living elsewhere in the world. If you decide to book with a tutor, you should assume that they can only teach you online.
If you're really not keen on learning with a teacher via video call, LanguaTalk isn't going to be the right choice for you. You can instead search for a tutor on a local service listing website, or put up an advert in your local area. We do encourage you to give it a try learning online though - you've got nothing to lose as you can book a free trial session. Most people find the experience is as good as learning face-to-face, but with the benefit of having access to better tutors at a lower cost.
The beauty of taking lessons online is that you can learn anytime, anywhere. When you choose a tutor, just check their calendar to make sure that they have available times that fit your schedule. Some tutors have limited availability as they already have a lot of students.
The vast majority of students take 55-minute lessons. But some tutors also provide the option of 30-minute lessons. If they do, you’ll see this noted on their profile (below their pricing and above the ‘Buy Lessons’ button).
55-minute lessons are recommended for most students. In general, we only suggest considering 30-minute lessons if they’re for your child, or you have an intermediate level and only want conversation practice.
On LanguaTalk, you can find exceptional tutors for 1-on-1 Spanish lessons tailored to your goals and learning preferences. Here’s how to try it for yourself:
1 - Find your ideal tutor by browsing videos, reviews, pricing and availability.
2 - Book a trial. Many tutors offer a 30-minute trial for free; others charge a discounted price.
3 - Take personalised lessons with your new tutor via video call. Or try someone else.
No card is required to book a free trial session. Please only book if you're considering taking lessons. Pricing varies by tutor and you can use the filter to find someone who fits your budget. You can pay one lesson at a time, or buy in bulk for a discount (open a tutor's profile to see their pricing options).
We’re confident you’ll love learning via LanguaTalk. We're trusted by students all over the world because we're transparent. We ask students to rate each lesson, and we display reviews on tutors’ profiles.
99.8% of lesson ratings are 5 stars. Why? Because unlike other platforms, we accept only the top 10% of tutor applications.
To see our full FAQs or get help from our friendly team, click the 'Help' button in the bottom-right. You can also watch students talking about their experiences learning via LanguaTalk below.
New to LanguaTalk? We'll give you a credit for a free trial session. Many, but not all, tutors offer these for free. If they do not, the price will be just 30 percent of their full lesson price, so you can still try a session at minimal cost.
Trial sessions last 30 minutes. They allow you to assess whether the tutor is a good fit for you, and get a feel for learning online. The tutor will assess your level and aim to understand your needs and interests so that they can customise any lessons you decide to take. You'll be encouraged to speak in Spanish as much as possible, but of course you can speak in English too!
If, after your trial session, you don't feel that the tutor is quite right for you, you can book a trial with another tutor for just 30 percent of their full lesson price.
Lessons are taught 1-on-1 so that you receive your tutor’s full attention and can make fast progress. Communicating via video call, you’ll be able to talk to your tutor and share learning materials as if you were in the same room.
The tutors vary in terms of their teaching methods, resources, experiences, and personalities. So we suggest you look at several profiles to choose the best tutor for you. Whichever Spanish tutor you pick, they'll aim to tailor the lessons to your individual needs.
