¡Hola! 😄 I'm the cheerful Mexican teacher you've been looking for to learn Spanish!
My name is Karim and I hold a degree in Foreign Languages and a certificate as a Language Teacher from the University of Cambridge. I've been teaching Spanish since 2014 and learning languages for 10 years now. So I know what it feels like to struggle with a foreign language both as a student and as a teacher.
Generally, I'm a dynamic, joyful, and patient teacher, so there's no problem if you're a beginner and '¡Hola, amigo!' is the only phrase you tell your Hispanic friend; or if you're intermediate and you'd like to improve your level to travel or study abroad. You'll be taught by using the best teaching methods and approaches to become fluent enough to be able to speak with more than 450 million people around the globe. 🌎
Your lessons will be fully customized according to your own needs. In general, we will have conversations based on your goals and interests so that you actively learn and practice vocabulary and structure. You won't be taught too many grammar rules unless you require this.
So, what are you waiting for? Hit the "book trial" button and prepare yourself for a thrilling journey!
I very much look forward to speaking with you in a trial lesson! 😉
Warm regards,
Karim

Hi! I am Victor. I offer conversational classes. One of the best ways to improve in a language is by talking. The most important thing is to be able to live Spanish as a part of your daily life. Every little detail since you wake up until you go to bed. And always immersed in things you like. So, we can talk about movies, books, history, traveling, food, sports, or any topic that is part of your life.
We can use videos, podcast, articles, music, books, newspapers, phases to start a conversation. We have endless topics. And I can help you with all mistakes you may have. If it is needed we can review grammar accordingly with your common mistakes. But do not forget that make mistakes is one of the best ways to improve. It is important for me that you feel in a safe space.
También podemos tener clases de conversación más casuales. Podemos hablar de un tema y te puedo mostrar algo de gramática de acuerdo a tus errores más comunes. La practica de conversación es lo que más ayuda para que puedas mejorar tu español.
I always adjust to your level.
*For me the best option is zoom.

Have you ever had or overheard a conversation where you couldn't understand anything because it's not what you've learned in books? Don't worry, in our classes we will learn how we really speak in everyday situations 😉.
I consider myself a very patient and dynamic person, so the classes with you will be personalized according to your needs and interests. 🚫IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT (TRIAL) LESSONS🚫
Your time is precious and so is mine😊 ! Please, try to be punctual as I can't stay longer if you're late. Besides, if you're taking a first lesson with me, make sure you confirm your attendance, at least 2 hours before the lesson (the latest). Behind the screen, there's a human being just like you who has a life and obligations too.❤
ME AS A TEACHER AND TEACHING STYLE
I consider myself to be an easy person to talk to, patient and fun. I have experience teaching different kinds of students from kids to adults in both online and classroom setting (more than 3000 lessons online + 3 years of classroom setting experience). I have been implementing a combination of the Flipped classroom and communicative approach into the lessons and so far, I have seen great improvement in my students' ability to communicate.
TYPES OF LESSONS AND MATERIALS:
🎥Action programme (B1-B2 LEVEL): we'll learn Spanish language and culture together thanks to the famous series called "AQUÍ NOHAY QUIEN VIVA" You'll have to watch an episode from the series before our lesson, read the cultural insights prepared for you and do the vocabulary games from the episode. In class we'll discuss the episode, talk about cultural differences and roleplay everyday situations. PowerPoint from the lesson + notes included.
📚Flipped classroom programme (A1-B2LEVEL): It'll especially boost your Speaking skills in an organised, structured and visual way. Materials will be sent every weekend (video lessons, PDFS, flashcards, grammar games...) and all skills will be covered. In class, we’ll try to practice what you learnt through speaking activities.
📚🎥Flex lessons: They can be a mix of structure lesson (the one above) and flexible lessons. You can also choose practicing your Spanish through my interactive magazine (B1-B2) which includes: articles, videos, expressions ... In class we can do debates and discussions around these topics.
📣Conversation programme: Based on the books “Conversar en español I & II”. We’ll do lot of controlled speaking practice. The course also includes access to the Power Points , audio files and notes from the lesson.
EXTRA:
⭐I give mini lessons on my social networks.
⭐From February my students will benefit from language exchanges too.

Hello! I'm from Guatemala, the country of eternal spring.
I lived in Costa Rica for more than a year, and I have traveled all over Central America. I love being a Spanish teacher because through my students I also learn about their culture and traditions. And of course my desire is to help them learn this beautiful language.
Would you like to learn or improve your Spanish speaking skills? You have found the right person!
I have been teaching this wonderful language for 18 years to different ages and levels. I am a very patient, flexible and smiling teacher.
My goal is to make you speak fluently and confidently, to make you feel comfortable and to have dynamic and fun lessons.
I adapt to the needs of each student. My classes are structured using student-friendly tools and I always focus on the four important skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
I have also studied theology and I am a bible teacher for children.
If you would like to talk a little bit about theology, I would be happy to help you.
I look forward to helping you learn this wonderful language.

I have been a qualified teacher for 10 years, I am Spanish although I have lived in many different countries. My mother tongue is Spanish but I also speak English, Portuguese and a little French. Teaching Spanish is my passion. The part I like the most about my job is the opportunity to meet different people and learn from them while they enjoy learning Spanish.
My classes are fun and effective. With me you will learn grammar, vocabulary and culture and we will focus on the conversation. I design the classes and the material for each student according to their interests, objectives, level and age.
I hope to see you soon! ;)
See Reviews From StudentsIf you're really not keen on learning with a teacher via video call, LanguaTalk isn't going to be the right choice for you. You can instead search for a tutor on a local service listing website, or put up an advert in your local area. We do encourage you to give it a try learning online though - you've got nothing to lose as you can book a free trial session. Most people find the experience is as good as learning face-to-face, but with the benefit of having access to better tutors at a lower cost.
Sometimes students tell us that they're not sure about learning Spanish online because they think it’ll be completely different to learning face-to-face. But usually when they try it, they find that the experience is almost the same and they often build a solid relationship with their tutor.
Once you start a video call with your chosen tutor, you’ll be able to communicate with them as if you were in the same room. The tutor will typically also share learning resources with you (newspaper articles, YouTube, etc.) and you’ll be able to collaborate in real-time using a tool like Google Docs or Dropbox Paper.
Tutors on LanguaTalk sometimes provide lessons locally, but most only provide online lessons as it is more convenient and allows them to work from home. In addition, most tutors are not teaching Spanish in The Hague because they're living elsewhere in the world. If you decide to book with a tutor, you should assume that they can only teach you online.
Whether you live in the city centre or the suburbs of The Hague, there are many options for learning Spanish. You could use an app or a software program if you're looking to pick up basic vocabulary and learn some grammar rules. Alternatively, you could attend group lessons with Spanish tutors in The Hague if you're keen for a social experience. Or, you could take 1-on-1 lessons with a private tutor. This isn't the cheapest way to learn a language but it's possibly the most effective, assuming you have a good tutor. Learning online rather than face-to-face may make private tutors a more affordable option. Check the tutor profiles above to see how much it's likely to cost. Prices vary a lot depending on the tutor, but will usually be cheaper than learning with a Spanish tutor in The Hague, face-to-face.
Our research suggests that the average cost for private Spanish lessons in The Hague is somewhere between $25-$35 per hour. As online tutors do not need to travel to you and they often live in countries with a lower cost of living, the hourly cost tends to be significantly lower.
The beauty of taking lessons online is that you can learn anytime, anywhere. When you choose a tutor, just check their calendar to make sure that they have available times that fit your schedule. Some tutors have limited availability as they already have a lot of students.
On LanguaTalk, you can find exceptional tutors for 1-on-1 Spanish lessons tailored to your goals and learning preferences. Here’s how to try it for yourself:
1 - Find your ideal tutor by browsing videos, reviews, pricing and availability.
2 - Book a trial. Many tutors offer a 30-minute trial for free; others charge a discounted price.
3 - Take personalised lessons with your new tutor via video call. Or try someone else.
No card is required to book a free trial session. Please only book if you're considering taking lessons. Pricing varies by tutor and you can use the filter to find someone who fits your budget. You can pay one lesson at a time, or buy in bulk for a discount (open a tutor's profile to see their pricing options).
We’re confident you’ll love learning via LanguaTalk. We're trusted by students all over the world because we're transparent. We ask students to rate each lesson, and we display reviews on tutors’ profiles.
99.8% of lesson ratings are 5 stars. Why? Because unlike other platforms, we accept only the top 10% of tutor applications.
To see our full FAQs or get help from our friendly team, click the 'Help' button in the bottom-right. You can also watch students talking about their experiences learning via LanguaTalk below.
New to LanguaTalk? We'll give you a credit for a free trial session. Many, but not all, tutors offer these for free. If they do not, the price will be just 30 percent of their full lesson price, so you can still try a session at minimal cost.
Trial sessions last 30 minutes. They allow you to assess whether the tutor is a good fit for you, and get a feel for learning online. The tutor will assess your level and aim to understand your needs and interests so that they can customise any lessons you decide to take. You'll be encouraged to speak in Spanish as much as possible, but of course you can speak in English too!
If, after your trial session, you don't feel that the tutor is quite right for you, you can book a trial with another tutor for just 30 percent of their full lesson price.
Lessons are taught 1-on-1 so that you receive your tutor’s full attention and can make fast progress. Communicating via video call, you’ll be able to talk to your tutor and share learning materials as if you were in the same room.
The tutors vary in terms of their teaching methods, resources, experiences, and personalities. So we suggest you look at several profiles to choose the best tutor for you. Whichever Spanish tutor you pick, they'll aim to tailor the lessons to your individual needs.
The vast majority of students take 55-minute lessons. But some tutors also provide the option of 30-minute lessons. If they do, you’ll see this noted on their profile (below their pricing and above the ‘Buy Lessons’ button).
55-minute lessons are recommended for most students. In general, we only suggest considering 30-minute lessons if they’re for your child, or you have an intermediate level and only want conversation practice.
