I’ve been a professional French teacher since 2007. I taught French in various language schools, for big companies and at university. Since 2020, I’ve been teaching exclusively online. A few years ago, when I was in bed at night and almost ready to sleep, I used to ask myself this question : "Why would people want to learn French? Are they crazy?"

It definitely takes guts for someone to take the obscure path of French learning, especially when you know that almost no francophone can speak French perfectly. And it is this courageous desire detected in French learners that made me want to start teaching this language three years ago. In fact, besides the syntactic complexity of this language (which, by the way, is most likely to be a cliché), French is a very poetic language, as it allows countless accesses to figurative speeches (so if you tend to be a little sarcastic at times, this might be perfect for you). With a bachelor's in applied modern languages and in the process of doing a Master's in French as a foreign language, I am very passionate about language learning and teaching my native tongue, french!  I have been teaching French for 8 years online and offline to people of various ages. I am familiar with the DELF A1-B2 examinations and also teach casual pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar.

I like to adapt my lessons according to the levels and goals of my students. I work with beginners to B2 intermediate level. My main goal is for you to come out of my lessons feeling more confident in the language. 

For the trial lesson:

- I will first send you a Google docs document. This document is for you to have access to the lesson plans before the lesson and for you to add your own notes. 

- In the first few minutes, I usually ask for you to present yourself and what you expect out of our lessons.  

- I like to start with some simple exercises to see how you feel about grammar, reading, listening, and speaking. 

If you want to focus on speaking only we will do various speaking exercises for you to be more confident in the language. If you want to practice for the DELF A1 to B2 exams or any examinations in your school/university we will work on whichever section you feel needs the most work. If you are here to have fun, you're welcome to join and have relaxing lessons on any theme or subject that sparks your interest!
