I am a native Italian teacher specialized in tutoring Italian for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners. I have been working since 2016 for several agencies and for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office in London teaching Italian from scratch. I am also a CILS tutor and exam administrator.

I hold a Bachelor in Linguistics and Italian as a second language and also worked for the publishing of an Italian Collocations Dictionary for Italian learners.

My objective is to keep students challenged but not overwhelmed. I also like to keep lessons engaging, fun and fresh. My students say I am patient and friendly: I do think it is very important to feel safe and supported when learning a new language. Ciao! My name is Mauro, I am native Italian from Calabria! I studied International Relations at Bologna University, then I moved to Padua, for a PhD in History of Political Thought. I currently live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I love running, Mozart, tango (I'm trying to improve my dancing abilities...), cook, and culture.

I am a very passionate teacher, I love to share my language and my knowledge about Italy, and its culture, films, music, literature, arts, food!!! I firmly believe that learning is based on trust between teacher and student, and the first objective of my classes is to individuate student's objectives and preferences.

My teaching methodology is integrated: I think that it is important to work on all of linguistic abilities: oral and writing comprehension and production. I also think that lessons must be as much as fun as possible, and I use a lot of authentic material: songs, films, cooking recipes, newspapers, advertising and so on...

I like to keep my teaching varied and fresh! First of all, I adjust my teaching to the age and the needs of the students, but I always love to interact a lot during lessons (that is also the best way to learn a language and to have fun ;) ) Depending on the student, I use songs, tales, newspaper, ppt presentation or exercises. 

Teaching is a passion for me, that is why I have been doing it for 3 years! I have taught different students with different needs. I taught for 6 months to two students of 14 years old who needed some help because they were not going good at school, then I helped a 20 years old guy to pass his boarding exam for three months and my latest student is a girl of 22 years old who has to take a university exam.

Hello! I am a professional Italian teacher with many years of experience. I am Italian but I have been living for several years in Germany where I teach Italian in schools and at the University.

I specialised at the University of Rome and at the University for Foreigners of Perugia in teaching Italian to foreigners and, at the moment, at the University of Portsmouth in England I am carrying out a PhD on the best strategies for learning Italian language vocabulary.

I am a professional but also friendly and patient teacher. The most important thing for me is that you never stop learning with a smile!

*Intermediate and advanced*: In my classes you will be able to talk about topics that interest you, and you will improve your vocabulary, your grammar, and your fluency.  

I not only specialize in teaching the language but because I hold a Masters Degree in Cultural Heritage and Archeology, I have comprehensive knowledge of my country’s deep history, culture, and art to share with you!

Hi! I'm Alessandra, I'm a native Italian teacher and I have 7 years of experience teaching to people of all ages. I'm currently living in Spain and I'm in love with learning new languages and teaching mine. I try to transmit my passion to make the learning process easier and more fun.  

My method is based on conversation, which means we will start to talk together since the beginning, integrating the classes with grammar. I speak English and Spanish fluently, so don't hesitate to ask any questions you have and complete the sentences you make in Italian.

Hi everyone! I’m Anna, an online Italian teacher specialised in Italian language and culture for foreign students. With over 15 years of experience teaching learners of all levels, I help students develop an authentic, confident and natural Italian.

I am bilingual in Italian and English, with a five-year degree in English Language and Literature and an ITALS Master’s degree (completed with top marks). I am a teacher but also a traveler and a language learner. I have lived and traveled in many countries and speak English, Russian, French, Spanish, and a bit of Hindy and Swahili. I have a background in classical studies, a University degree in education and later I specialized in teaching Italian as a foreign language My lessons are professionally structured.

The format of the lessons and the learning content that I will provide is individually tailored to the student’s language level and learning needs.
