My name is Javi, I am originally from Seville, from the south of Spain. I am a certified Spanish teacher with over 4 years of experience in teaching Spanish online. And I am here to help you on this adventure to learn Español.

I speak five languages fluently (Spanish, English, German, Portuguese and Italian) and also a bit of Chinese, French and Slovenian. Except for Spanish, all of them I learned as an adult. That is the reason why I also consider myself an expert language learner, which help me to know how to teach a foreign language. Not everything works! 

On my lessons, I focus on conversation, always using Spanish to communicate from the first day and adapting the lessons to the necessities of my students. My method is perfect for students who want to speak from day 1, explore a new culture, broaden their horizons, and communicate effectively in one of the most spoken languages in the world.

¡Hola! My name is Pablo. I am a native Spanish-speaking tutor from Guatemala. 

With over 20 years of teaching experience, I can help you reach your Spanish goals. I have a teaching certificate from the University of San Carlos and have taught Spanish in schools, universities, and online. I teach from beginners to advanced, and my students range from school students to 80 year olds! 

In the first lesson, I'll find out your Spanish level and interests to customize lessons that inspire your learning journey. For instance, if you enjoy films, we can include movie discussions. Don't worry if you are new to Spanish as we can begin from the basics.

For school students, lessons are tailored to match your school curriculum, and we will work towards achieving the highest grades. For adults, the lessons are focused, practical and fun. You will learn Spanish language skills to apply to real-world scenarios. You can go from knowing no Spanish at all to soon putting together your own sentences.  Whilst I use a textbook to provide structure to the lessons, I also use other resources from YouTube videos to Spanish-speaking film clips. 

Since I am from Guatemala, I love sharing with my students, the richness of Latin American culture and customs!  I am a very patient person and also have a good sense of humour so it's never a dull class. Above all, I prioritize making Spanish learning enjoyable and personally relevant to you. Teaching is my passion, and I believe being patient and empathetic ensures a positive learning experience. My name is Mercedes and I am from a beautiful city in the south of Spain called Cádiz.

I have been teaching Spanish for many years now ( +3000 hours taught online) and during this time I have learnt a lot teaching both online and in person as I was able to start my teaching path in the lovely capital city of Scotland, Edinburgh 💙

My experience has taught me how effective it is to create a relaxed and calmed working environment in which both the student and the teacher feel comfortable working together towards a specific goal.

I am a person with extensive experience teaching adults, from basic to advanced levels. I have helped students to learn Spanish for many purposes: traveling in Latino América or España, planning to do El Camino de Santiago, improving your attention and memory, doing an exam or even planning to move to a Spanish speaking country.

My teaching style is different from the traditional approach we have had in schools since childhood.

I use what is called "Inductive Method". First, we will get into context to the topic through a video, an image, a reading, etc. Then we will learn the grammar or vocabulary concept to be introduced that day, and then we will do a good practice to internalize it.

Hi everyone! I'm Mariángeles and I'm from Huelva, a city near Seville. I have been working as a private teacher for over 10 years now. I really enjoy meeting new people at language exchanges, travelling and learning about other cultures.

 I lived in Milan for two years and in Dublin for a year and a half. Both experiences were unforgettable and I would like to share them with you.

Regarding to my studies, I have a degree in Tourism and a double degree in Humanities, Translation and Interpreting. Languages are my passion since I was a child and I will be more than happy to share my passion with you all. I am a very well-organised and peaceful person.
