Hi, my name is Dulce.

I am a Spanish tutor with more than 5 years of experience in adult learning. I have taught Spanish in private settings and currently working as a Spanish instructor.

I have been through the challenging experience of learning a foreign language, so I know that learning a language takes time and a lot of practice.

Over the past years, I have had the privilege of helping many students speak Spanish fluently. For business/career, travel/ tourism, and many other purposes. So I’m confident I can help you too!

To consolidate the learning, I provide a friendly and safe environment that strengthens your learning process.  We will use the TPRS method (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) throughout the process. Role play, simulations, and fun activities among other resources will help you practice Spanish in real-life situations.

Hi everyone! I'm Mariángeles and I'm from Huelva, a city near Seville. I have been working as a private teacher for over 10 years now. I really enjoy meeting new people at language exchanges, travelling and learning about other cultures.

 I lived in Milan for two years and in Dublin for a year and a half. Both experiences were unforgettable and I would like to share them with you.

Regarding to my studies, I have a degree in Tourism and a double degree in Humanities, Translation and Interpreting. Languages are my passion since I was a child and I will be more than happy to share my passion with you all. I am a very well-organised and peaceful person. 

During my lessons I always try to develop a relationship with all my students in order to discover their interests and make my lessons more interesting and enjoyable. For this reason, my motto is "make learning fun and practical".

We will go through different kind of activities: listening comprehension exercises, exercises about idioms and informal/formal vocabulary, formal/informal writings, rewriting exercises, etc.

I have specialised in teaching Spanish to English speakers, but I have also taught international students in Thailand, Granada (Spain) and, of course, online.

I really enjoy teaching all kind of levels: it is very rewarding seeing the progress of a beginner student that starts to be able to communicate in Spanish after a few well structured classes whereas more advance lessons allow to very interesting topics and a little bit more freedom in the structure of the lesson.

Tried the 9-5 corporate life in the States—hated it. ❌💼 So, I got trained to teach Spanish online in a fun, dynamic way, and it's been an incredible six-year journey! I lived in the U.S. for six years, so I know the struggle of speaking in your second language all day. 😵‍💫. I bring a lot of energy to my lessons (probably some ADHD too! 🤪), which is why I focus on creating a relaxed and engaging environment. Learning a new language has taught me so much—about myself, about others, and about how language shapes the way we see the world. After all, language is culture! Don't you think?

I became a teacher because I love interacting with people, learning about different cultures, and helping others. ❤️ So, what better way to bring all of that together than by teaching Spanish? I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.
