About me:

I’m Diana, a friendly and patient English teacher from the beautiful city of Cape Town currently living in Portugal. In 2017, I completed my TESOL and TEYLT trainings and since then I have worked with students from all around the world both in language schools and online. I have lived and taught English in 5 different countries (Spain, Portugal, Indonesia, Turkey and South Africa) to students of all levels (beginners to advanced). In 2021, I became certified to teach Ielts and have thus helped numerous students with  their exam preparations too.

I am a professional English teacher with more than 30 years of teaching experience mainly in US - NYC and UK - East Midlands. Initially as a college English and Maths teacher, these days I teach online. My learners are students who tend to improve their school grades, students who are preparing for international exams, business professionals who work or intend to work for international companies or people who learn English for pleasure.  For every individual I usually prepare some tasks for a free talk, grammar practice or a role-play situation with targeting vocabulary and phrases.
