I am a Spanish tutor with more than 5 years of experience in adult learning. I have taught Spanish in private settings and currently working as a Spanish instructor.

To consolidate the learning, I provide a friendly and safe environment that strengthens your learning process.  We will use the TPRS method (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) throughout the process. I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.

I have worked as a Spanish teacher for 13 years, both in-person and online. My job duties typically include designing and delivering Spanish courses for all levels. Also a 13 year-experienced translator. I have recently worked on a project which involved developping Spanish lessons and units to be delivered online, so I am used to creating content of my own.

My teaching method is mostly conversational and based on a combination of skills. I use plenty of audiovisuals and various activities to get students to speak. My constant interest in professional training has allowed me to become familiar with techniques and tools that are essential in today´s second language learning.

My lessons are all similarly structured: a grammar point, a few exercises to get started, then controlled practice, and finally an audio or a video related to the topic.

Graduated in English Studies by the University of Alcala and certified as a Spanish Teacher with ELE title, I have more than 10 years of experience teaching English and Spanish. I was born in Argentina but came to Spain twenty years ago, therefore I know Spanish and South American culture to the same extent.
