 I come from Nancy in the north-east of France. I lived one year in Spain and  I am living now in Dublin. 

 I studied Performing Art and film studies in France, Spain and in Ireland. I am passionate about travelling, discovering new cultures and art. I completed a diploma to teach French to foreigners (DAEFLE- Alliance Française de Paris) in 2023. I am also an examiner and corrector for the DELF-DALF exam.

I started teaching French part-time 6 years ago when I moved to Dublin. I used to help Irish teenagers to prepare their French exams (Leaving Cert - Junior Cert) and students at the University (preparing oral exams, proof-reading essays).  I have been teaching French online since April 2020 and in person to adults and kids in some languages school since February 2021. 

I teach French to all levels (beginners to advanced) and all ages (kids, teenagers, adults). I graduated from the University of Oregon in the US with a Master of arts (French culture and Literature) and then I got a bachelor of Teaching French as a 2nd language from the University of Nantes, France. I started teaching at the University of Oregon as a GTF and it helped me find my path, teaching became a part of my identity and I really found myself thanks to this experience. Afterwards, I started to travel around south east Asia and moved to Vietnam and started teaching English to Vietnamese and indonesian students. I started teaching French online when I moved to the Philippines in 2019, and have continued since in several countries such as Canada (Quebec and BC), France, Panama...

I provide personalized online classes, based on your level (from A1 to C2), your goals and your interests. Languages are a passion of mine, I am currently working on language 5 and 6. Because I've been learning other languages  I am very familiar with the difficulties my students can have and which methods are efficient. 

My first objective is for my student to develop the skills to speak and understand French so that they can be independant consulting French content at home. My classes are very relaxed and I try to have a good time while I teach. My classes are tailored to each student's level. 

• For beginners: we work on the elements of the sentence, conjugating verbs, prononciation exercises, we read basic text and we start writing and speaking in French. we also introduce the idea of daily practice.
• For intermediates we work on more advanced grammatical concepts and conjugating with more tenses, we work with audio and written format (about 50/50 technique and practice)
• For advanced students we usually do more conversation based exercises, prior to the class I'll send a podcast, documentary, youtube video, movie extracts and more and the student have to express their thoughts, their critic or commentary on the topic, on my hand I will ask questions to keep the conversation going. We can also do interview prep, review of essays written in French etc.

 I also do give a little bit of homework.
