Hi! My name is Vanessa, I am from Peru and I currently live in Washington State, in the US. Besides being fluent in Spanish and English, I speak Portuguese (C1) and French(B1).

I have been teaching online since 2018. Being a language learner myself, I know what the most common challenges are when learning a language and the most successful ways to overcome them.

In my opinion, the easiest and most memorable way of learning is having fun during the process. I lived in Costa Rica for more than a year, and I have traveled all over Central America.  I love being a Spanish teacher because through my students I also learn about their culture and traditions.  And of course my desire is to help them learn this beautiful language.

My name is Karim and I hold a degree in Foreign Languages and a certificate as a Language Teacher from the University of Cambridge. Your lessons will be fully customized according to your own needs. In general, we will have conversations based on your goals and interests so that you actively learn and practice vocabulary and structure. You won't be taught too many grammar rules unless you require this.

I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.
