Hey there! I'm Alexa, a native Spanish speaker originally from Venezuela but now residing in Mexico for the past 8 years.

I'm really into learning languages because it's super exciting! It opens up new doors and brings about some awesome experiences. Currently, I'm immersing myself in the world of Chinese and Portuguese. I believe the whole point of learning a new language is to connect with people, understand their culture, and dive into cool new experiences.

My teaching style is all about keeping it fun and practical. We'll jump into real-life situations, chat about interesting stuff, share stories, and pick up everyday phrases, verbs, and vocab—the language of everyday life, you know?

My name is Karim and I hold a degree in Foreign Languages and a certificate as a Language Teacher from the University of Cambridge. Hello, I'm Ruth, and I am from Peru. I live in Cusco, the city of the Incas, where Machu Picchu is located. I'd love to be your future Spanish tutor!  Likewise, I've been teaching for a while, working with a diverse range of students. This experience has helped me understand how individuals learn at different stages of life. Also, my knowledge of English allows me to connect with students and help them grasp the nuances of the Spanish language. I am a timely and responsible person. I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.
