Hello! I’m Carlos, a Spanish teacher based in the beautiful and sunny city of Malaga, in southern Spain. I have a passion for connecting with people from diverse cultures and sharing my native language along with the richness of Spanish culture. I consider myself on being positive, cheerful, and sociable.

Currently, I teach Spanish online, working with students from around the globe. With over five years of experience in online teaching, and ten years at various language schools in Malaga, I offer a rich background and understanding to enhance your learning experience.As a dynamic and attentive teacher, I prioritize effective communication while ensuring a solid grasp of grammar. I'm from Ecuador but I'm currently living in the Netherlands.  I've been teaching both English and Spanish for 15 years. 

Teaching is something I'm really passionate about. I'm totally convinced that learning a new language should be fun and not only focused on grammar structures and boring rules.

You're going to learn Spanish through games, dialogues, role plays, videos and any kind of interactive and communicative activity you can think of.

I hold a teaching degree on English as a Foreign Language and a Master's Degree on English and Applied Linguistics. Although, these degrees are related to English teaching, they have helped me develop teaching methods to teach Spanish effectively and interactively as well.

I offer conversation practice and structured courses, from absolute beginner to C1, grammar drills and homework if you wish. Wide experience with adults and senior students. I will provide you with notes and examples from our lessons, during the lesson in Google Docs, or after the lesson, via e-mail. You don't need to decide in advance if you prefer Latin American Spanish or European Spanish, I can teach you the main differences and help you decide. 

In our first lesson or trial we will figure out how your learning plan will be, depending on your individual needs, learning style and goals. If it's your first online lesson, there's no need to stress, I'm very understanding and patient. 

Oh and to tell you a little about me...I love animals, languages, reading and traveling.

My name is Mercedes and I am from a beautiful city in the south of Spain called Cádiz.

I have been teaching Spanish for many years now ( +3000 hours taught online) and during this time I have learnt a lot teaching both online and in person as I was able to start my teaching path in the lovely capital city of Scotland, Edinburgh 💙

I am certified as a Spanish language teacher through International House, a worldwide Organization that stands up for a communicative method.

My experience has taught me how effective it is to create a relaxed and calmed working environment in which both the student and the teacher feel comfortable working together towards a specific goal.

I am a person with extensive experience teaching adults, from basic to advanced levels. I have helped students to learn Spanish for many purposes: traveling in Latino América or España, planning to do El Camino de Santiago, improving your attention and memory, doing an exam or even planning to move to a Spanish speaking country.

My teaching style is different from the traditional approach we have had in schools since childhood.

First, we will get into context to the topic through a video, an image, a reading, etc. Then we will learn the grammar or vocabulary concept to be introduced that day, and then we will do a good practice to internalize it.

I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.

Graduated in Hispanic Philology and Masters in Applied French, I have always kept up with my teaching training and have also completed a CELTA course for English teachers. This further training has provided me with the familiarity to different teaching methodologies, which have proven to be extremely useful in my classes.

I have worked as a Spanish teacher for 13 years, both in-person and online. My job duties typically include designing and delivering Spanish courses for all levels. Also a 13 year-experienced translator. I have recently worked on a project which involved developping Spanish lessons and units to be delivered online, so I am used to creating content of my own.

My teaching method is mostly conversational and based on a combination of skills. I use plenty of audiovisuals and various activities to get students to speak. My constant interest in professional training has allowed me to become familiar with techniques and tools that are essential in today´s second language learning.

My lessons are all similarly structured: a grammar point, a few exercises to get started, then controlled practice, and finally an audio or a video related to the topic.

¡Hola! I’m Paul from Venezuela. I’ve been living in France since 2012, where I work as a fully qualified Spanish teacher at the university level, with up-to-date training. I have extensive experience preparing students for DELE, SIELE, Bright, and CLOE exams, as well as general Spanish practice. I specialize in helping students improve their Spanish pronunciation and grammar, assisting many in developing a more natural and fluid way of speaking.

I have worked for various universities and associations for over 10 years. Currently, I teach online for LanguaTalk and engineering schools in France, mainly to university and high school students.  My sessions focus on encouraging students to use Spanish effectively, building their confidence, and helping them find their own natural way of expressing themselves in my language. In some cases, the grammatical structure is included in a simplified and dynamic way, and the grammatical concepts may or may not be used in our class, depending on the interests or preferences of each student.
