I have also a postgraduate certificate in Modern Foreign Languages Teaching from Canterbury Christ Church University. Apart from my university degrees, I hold certificates in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and in professional proofreading from European University of Madrid. ÂĄBienvenido/a a bordo! Welcome on board!
The theory behind my teaching method is simple yet efficient:
A bit about me: I love learning. From languages (Portuguese, French and Japanese) to music, philosophy... At one point I found that teaching my mother tongue, which I adore, makes me renew my perception of it, so it feels like a never ending adventure. That's why it has been my main focus these past five years, spending months building a method based on active use and understanding of a language that is very much alive all over the world. It is a great pleasure for me being able to say that I gained some good friends thanks to my profession, so what else can I ask for!
Letâs chat and see what our first lesson will look like!
Take care,
Julieta.

ÂĄHola! đ I'm the cheerful Mexican teacher you've been looking for to learn Spanish!Â
My name is Karim and I hold a degree in Foreign Languages and a certificate as a Language Teacher from the University of Cambridge. I've been teaching Spanish since 2014 and learning languages for 10 years now. So I know what it feels like to struggle with a foreign language both as a student and as a teacher.Â
Generally, I'm a dynamic, joyful, and patient teacher, so there's no problem if you're a beginner and 'ÂĄHola, amigo!' is the only phrase you tell your Hispanic friend; or if you're intermediate and you'd like to improve your level to travel or study abroad. You'll be taught by using the best teaching methods and approaches to become fluent enough to be able to speak with more than 450 million people around the globe. đ
Your lessons will be fully customized according to your own needs. In general, we will have conversations based on your goals and interests so that you actively learn and practice vocabulary and structure. You won't be taught too many grammar rules unless you require this.Â
So, what are you waiting for? Hit the "book trial" button and prepare yourself for a thrilling journey!Â
I very much look forward to speaking with you in a trial lesson! Â đ

Hola!
My name is Samuel and I live in Madrid. In 2013 I got my Spanish teacher Certificate and since then I have been teaching Spanish in many language schools -in person and the last two years mainly online due to the pandemic. I have also taught group classes and individual one to one classes in companies. I have also helped many students to pass DELE exams.
I have a Philosophy Degree as well from Universidad Complutense. Madrid. I also really love to talk about a wide range of topics. I enjoy listening and learning from my students. Everyone has interesting things to say. With me, you will be talking about things you like without noticing you are doing it in Spanish.
I can share with you many books, videos, infographics, newspaper articles etc in pdf format so that we have always fresh and juicy material to discuss. These last ones are a fantastic complement because sometimes the standard books for learning might be designed âwhat is fine- for generic purposes. Pdf files are included in the price.
I have taught students from every corner of the world and from very different backgrounds. I love learning from my students while I am teaching them.
I speak very fluent English so even if your knowledge of Spanish is 0 donât be afraid. You will always be comfortable in my classes. I am also learning French so I havenât forgotten how does it feel to be a beginner ;)
I hope to see you soon!

ÂĄHola! My name is Pablo. I am a native Spanish-speaking tutor from Guatemala.Â
With over 20 years of teaching experience, I can help you reach your Spanish goals. I have a teaching certificate from the University of San Carlos and have taught Spanish in schools, universities, and online. I teach from beginners to advanced, and my students range from school students to 80 year olds!Â
In the first lesson, I'll find out your Spanish level and interests to customize lessons that inspire your learning journey. For instance, if you enjoy films, we can include movie discussions. Don't worry if you are new to Spanish as we can begin from the basics.
For school students, lessons are tailored to match your school curriculum, and we will work towards achieving the highest grades. For adults, the lessons are focused, practical and fun. You will learn Spanish language skills to apply to real-world scenarios. You can go from knowing no Spanish at all to soon putting together your own sentences. Â Whilst I use a textbook to provide structure to the lessons, I also use other resources from YouTube videos to Spanish-speaking film clips.Â
Since I am from Guatemala, I love sharing with my students, the richness of Latin American culture and customs! Â I am a very patient person and also have a good sense of humour so it's never a dull class. Above all, I prioritize making Spanish learning enjoyable and personally relevant to you. Hello everyone! My name is Dionisio. I have been teaching Spanish since 2008 with students from all over the world. I also have experience teaching my language and culture in other countries such as the United States. Â
My classes are dynamic and communicative so that from the first moment you can find a space of confidence to express yourself in Spanish. After knowing your interests and your level of Spanish, I adapt my classes to your learning needs. Generally, I like to organize the session around a grammar point, or a vocabulary topic that helps us to structure the class, and helps you to memorize its content. I like to include different resources in my classes such as conversation on different topics, internet articles, grammar worksheets, audios, videos and kahoots that will help you develop your skills to learn Spanish in a real context. I love teaching and learning languages, and in addition to English and Spanish, I speak French and Catalan.
A little bit more about me: although I was born and raised in Zaragoza (Spain), I developed my professional career in Barcelona. Currently, I live on a small island in the Mediterranean Sea. In addition to teaching Spanish, I am passionate about theater and writing, activities to which I also dedicate myself professionally as a stage director, playwright and teacher.

ÂĄHola!
I am Alberto, a highly-skilled and dedicated Spanish teacher from Spain. I specialize in teaching Spanish both to children and adults, using interactive and fun methods to make learning a language enjoyable and engaging for everyone. As a native speaker of both Spanish and Italian, I bring a unique perspective to my lessons. I have traveled extensively and have a wealth of experience in different roles, including manufacturing, restaurants, and even as an electrician. I later set up a travel agency and hostel which greatly enriched my cultural knowledge.
I've been praised by my students for my effective and engaging teaching approach. I believe that conversation is key to truly mastering a language, so I've designed my lessons to be interactive and student-centered, where you will be actively participating and speaking instead of just passively listening. I've been successful in helping students of all ages and levels achieve fluency in Spanish.
I will assess your level, goals and needs in the first lesson, and create a tailored curriculum that best suits you. I've been told by my students that they've seen progress in their learning and they've been able to understand the context of conversations for the most part now. I make the classes fun and relevant by having conversations about our day to day lives. We start our lessons with conversations in Spanish (for all levels) and then towards the middle of the class move on to reviewing the homework and practicing conversations around those specific sections of the textbook. I am patient, encouraging and make learning fun!
Don't wait, book a trial lesson with me today, and let's get started on your journey to fluency in Spanish. I am looking forward to helping you achieve your goals!

Hi! I am Victor. I offer conversational classes. One of the best ways to improve in a language is by talking. The most important thing is to be able to live Spanish as a part of your daily life. Every little detail since you wake up until you go to bed. And always immersed in  things you like. So, we can talk about movies, books, history, traveling, food, sports, or any topic that is part of your life.
We can use videos, podcast, articles, music, books, newspapers, phases to start a conversation. We have endless topics. And I can help you with all mistakes you may have. If it is needed we can review grammar accordingly with your common mistakes. But do not forget that make mistakes is one of the best ways to improve. It is important for me that you feel in a safe space.
También podemos tener clases de conversación mås casuales. Podemos hablar de un tema y te puedo mostrar algo de gramåtica de acuerdo a tus errores mås comunes. La practica de conversación es lo que mås ayuda para que puedas mejorar tu español.
I always adjust to your level.Â
*For me the best option is zoom.

I have specialised in teaching Spanish to English speakers, but I have also taught international students in Thailand, Granada (Spain) and, of course, online.
My lessons are very dynamic and tailored to your needs.
I really enjoy teaching all kind of levels: it is very rewarding seeing the progress of a beginner student that starts to be able to communicate in Spanish after a few well structured classes whereas more advance lessons allow to very interesting topics and a little bit more freedom in the structure of the lesson.
ÂżHablamos? Let's talk!
A little bit more about me: I was born and raised in Zaragoza, a small city in the North of Spain famous for its wine, food and a football team that used to be good. I love traveling and languages: currently I'm studying Japanese, but I also (try to) speak French, Arabic and Spanish Sign Language; so yes, I know how it feels learning a language from 0! Hi, student! Are you beginner in Spanish? Intermediate? Or maybe you are already advanced? Â I'll tell you how I can help you depending on your current level.
-Beginners: I love working with beginners! I will adapt to your pace and your learning style. We will work on the basics of Spanish and, without realizing it, you will learn about the feared Spanish grammar :)
-Intermediate: excellent! Let's talk and continue developing your skills. I will always give you feedback and explain the grammatical content to continue advancing.
-Advanced: let's have conversations about everything! News, music, culture... Whatever you want! We will improve what is necessary.
A little about me...
- I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
- I have been a Spanish teacher for years, I love my job.
- I love music, I am a singer.
- I consider that education is the fundamental solution to improve the world, that is why I dedicate myself to teaching.
What characterize me?
1) I personalize the classes to your needs and personal goals with the language.
2) I prepare and provide all your study materials and practical exercises (presentations PPT, audio and video files, news articles and homework).
3) I combine reading, listening and speaking excercises so you can learn and practice all the four different skills.
4) I like including cultural content (about my country and about Latin America).
5) Plus: if you are interested in Argentine Spanish (from Buenos Aires) I can show you the characteristics of "voseo" and its conjugations. In addition, we can focus the classes on the Argentine accent and its special pronunciations.
I invite you to schedule your trial class with me so you can tell me about your motivations, objectives and experiences (if any) with Spanish.

You can pay one lesson at a time, or buy in bulk for a discount (open a tutor's profile to see their pricing options).
Weâre confident youâll love learning via LanguaTalk. We're trusted by students all over the world because we're transparent. We ask students to rate each lesson, and we display reviews on tutorsâ profiles.
99.8% of lesson ratings are 5 stars. Why? Because unlike other platforms, we accept only the top 10% of tutor applications.
To see our full FAQs or get help from our friendly team, click the 'Help' button in the bottom-right. You can also watch students talking about their experiences learning via LanguaTalk below.
1-on-1 lessons are perhaps the best way to improve speaking skills, and because of this many students use LanguaTalk to learn to speak Spanish fluently. That said, some students have other, more specific goals. Tell your tutor what your goals are and they'll tailor the lessons to your needs. Most tutors can help with any of the following:
New to LanguaTalk? You'll have one credit for a free trial. Most tutors offer a trial for free. If they do not, theyâll offer a trial session at a discount compared to their usual hourly rate.
Trial sessions last 30 minutes. They allow you to assess whether the tutor is a good fit for you, and get a feel for learning online. The tutor will assess your level and aim to understand your needs and interests so that they can customise any lessons you decide to take. You'll be encouraged to speak in Spanish as much as possible, but of course you can speak in English too!
After your session, if you feel that the tutor isnât quite right for you, you can simply book a trial with someone else.
Most of the Spanish tutors on our site are able to teach students of all levels. When you click on a tutor's profile you'll see if certain levels are not supported. For example, certain tutors cannot teach complete beginners.
Likewise, you can also see on the tutor's profile whether they're suitable for all ages. Online Spanish lessons are sometimes taken to support school/college studies. Usually, the tutor will be able to customise the lessons to follow the material and topics covered in the student's exams. Please note that as per our Terms & Conditions, students who are under 18 must get permission from a legal guardian before booking.
Lessons are taught 1-on-1 so that you receive your tutorâs full attention and can make fast progress. Communicating via video call, youâll be able to talk to your tutor and share learning materials as if you were in the same room.
The tutors vary in terms of their teaching methods, resources, experiences, and personalities. So we suggest you look at several profiles to choose the best tutor for you. Whichever Spanish tutor you pick, they'll aim to tailor the lessons to your individual needs.
The vast majority of students take 55-minute lessons. But some tutors also provide the option of 30-minute lessons. If they do, youâll see this noted on their profile (below their pricing and above the âBuy Lessonsâ button).
55-minute lessons are recommended for most students. In general, we only suggest considering 30-minute lessons if theyâre for your child, or you have an intermediate level and only want conversation practice.
We want students to have an exceptional learning experience on LanguaTalk, so we only accept the very best tutor applications. Though we consider qualifications and experience, we place equal value on communication skills, personality and reviews from previous students. Almost all tutors are native speakers of the language they teach, and we require that they can speak English too.
Each tutor is different - they have different backgrounds, strengths, teaching methods and personalities. So we suggest you browse several profiles to find the right Spanish tutor for you.
The beauty of taking lessons online is that you can learn anytime, anywhere. To see tutors who are likely to fit your weekly schedule, use the availability filter at the top. Then when you see a tutor you like, check their profile calendar to make sure their time slots work for you. Some tutors have limited availability as they already have lots of students.
Our booking system is designed to be incredibly easy to use. You can see tutors' available hours in your local time zone. If you choose to book lessons with a tutor, you'll be able to purchase them one at a time, or buy in bulk with a volume discount. You can pay securely by card on our website.
You can manually add bookings to your personal calendar, or if you use Google calendar, you can add bookings automatically with our syncing feature. You'll also be able to receive email reminders to help ensure you don't forget to turn up.
You can reschedule or cancel lessons in a couple of clicks. Note that this can only be done up to 24 hours before the lesson time. This rule is required to protect tutors, who lose income when lessons are cancelled at the last minute.
Sometimes students feel uncertain about learning Spanish online because they think itâll be totally different to learning face-to-face. But usually when they try it, they find that the experience is almost the same and they often build a strong relationship with their tutor.
Once you start a video call with your chosen Spanish tutor online, youâll be able to communicate with them as if you were in the same room. Theyâll usually also share learning resources with you (using Google Docs, YouTube etc.) and youâll be able to collaborate in real-time.
According to the Foreign Service Institute, if you already speak English, Spanish is one of the easiest languages to learn. The exact amount of time it will take you to become fluent will depend on many factors, such as your current level, your knowledge of similar languages, your capacity to learn, how you study, and how intensively you study. Some will be able to go from beginner to conversational fluency within a couple of months through intensive study. Others will take longer. Combining 1-on-1 lessons with an online Spanish tutor with regular self-study is an effective way to learn Spanish fast.
If you live in the US or Europe, face-to-face Spanish lessons may cost anywhere between $15 and $40 (USD) per hour. Online tutoring tends to be cheaper than face-to-face because the tutor doesn't need to travel to you. An online Spanish tutor could cost anywhere from $7 to $30 per hour, but be aware that very cheap tutors may lack experience. On LanguaTalk, Spanish tutors typically charge between $10 and $25 per hour.
Of course, learning 1-on-1 with an experienced Spanish tutor is not the cheapest way to learn; you could learn via a free app instead. But if you're serious about learning, nothing beats 1-on-1 Spanish lessons with a great teacher.
There is no 'best way' to learn a language - it depends on your needs, level and budget. If you can't afford to take lessons, you can use a free app such as Duolingo to build your vocabulary. And to improve your listening skills, you can watch TV and listen to podcasts in Spanish. But to learn how to actually speak a language, you need to talk to a native speaker on a regular basis and receive accurate feedback so that you improve. If you want to make fast progress, it's best to take 1-on-1 lessons that are tailored to your needs by an experienced online Spanish teacher.
