My name is Melina and I am from Peru. I studied foreign languages at the National University of Cajamarca in the north of Peru and I got a degree in Education – Foreign languages. I speak Spanish (native) and English (B2) very well.

ME AS A TEACHER AND TEACHING STYLE

I consider myself to be an easy person to talk to, patient and fun. I have experience teaching different kinds of students from kids to adults in both online and classroom settings (more than 3000 lessons online + 3 years of classroom setting experience). I have been implementing a combination of the Flipped classroom and communicative approach into the lessons and so far, I have seen great improvement in my students' ability to communicate. Hi! I'm Agustina from a small town in Córdoba, Argentina. This town was founded by Germans and the have build the first German school in the province. I visited this school and that was where I had my first contact with a foreign language. I love learning them but also teaching them because it is the most natural and efficient way to exchange ideas and learn about other cultures. In my city, Córdoba, I studied to become a German Translator and thanks to an agreement between universities I had the opportunity to do two exchanges in Germany. They were incredible experiences in which I met many interesting people, made friends and visited beautiful places. 

Besides Spanish, German and English I also have an elementary level of Russian. 

My hobbies are writing in my literary blog, doing sports and yoga, going out with friends, dancing and making crafts.

In 2013 I got my Spanish teacher Certificate and since then I have been teaching Spanish in many language schools -in person and the last two years mainly online due to the pandemic. I have also taught group classes and individual one to one classes in companies. I have also helped many students to pass DELE exams.

I prefer to teach grammar with  examples because they contain chunks of grammar that we will later encounter in other phrases and grammar constructions. You will create your examples and incorporate the grammar rules. We will also work on Google Sheets, which you will always have access to and where we can work on and save all of our learning sessions.

I will send you homework regularly just so you can work on your Spanish in between every session that we have.
