I hold a Master's degree in German as a Foreign Language and a Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Musicology, and German Language & Literature. With experience at various educational institutions, I have also completed an advanced training program at the Goethe-Institut, where I currently train German teachers. Specializing in online German language teaching, I’ve been working with students from all over the world for several years. Hi, I'm Your new German teacher. Born and raised in Switzerland but now living in Peru. I'm an artist, graphic designer and much more. I speak fluent English, Spanish and good French. I love to teach online because it allows me both to get to know new people from all over the world but also to take good care of my family. I always try to improve my teaching methods and to help my students find the best materials for them to keep studying for themselves. Hi, my name is Sina and I am a native German speaker who is passionate about talking and teaching this language with people from different cultures all over the world! I am currently based in Kampala, Uganda, working in the creative arts sector as projects manager.

My experiences teaching German language go back to 2015, during my master studies, when I gave intense lessons to refugees helping them to reach basic vocabulary and grammar for everyday conversations using self-compiled material.

When moving to Uganda in 2019, I gave regular tutoring classes to German students' level A1, A2 and B1 at Goethe-Zentrum Kampala for six months.  I got insights into the language structures of the Goethe Insitut-system including exam preparation collecting professional teaching material.

To get students engaged with German language I usually work with interactive methods. We start with a comprehensive introduction to the respective topic through work sheets, powerpoint or visuals. Then we apply what has been learned through playful games, conversation exercises or gap texts. My methodology is: First process, then apply! Teaching one-to-one means I am all there for you, you decide which topic you want to work on, which challenges you want to master and how often we should repeat a lesson.

Hello! My name is Simon and I come from Germany. For many years, I lived abroad, working and studying in East Timor, Italy, Russia, Jordan and France. Living abroad, I always struggled not knowing the local language and developed a passion to do my best and learn these languages. 

Today I speak 7 languages. To get there, I developed many techniques and methods that helped me improve my grammar, understanding and speaking. Since I started teaching, I have helped more than 50 people and gathered over 2000 teaching hours of experience. I hope to share these techniques with you and help you reach your language learning goals. 

Learning a languages is a unique experience. Everybody has a different story for learning German. You may need to pass a German exam to enter university or work in Germany, you may have German friends or family and want to learn more, or you may simply enjoy learning German. 

For each of you, there is an individual plan waiting that meets these situations, expectations, and goals. Whether you are learning for fun, for an exam, or for travelling, we will practice the types of conversations, vocabulary, and grammar that you will need most. 

Most of all, we will have fun and learn together!

I have taught all levels at our national university language lab and privately. Also, I prepare for international examinations: *Goethe A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2, *TELC, *DSH, *Occupation Medicine B2-C1, *Workplace/occupation A2-B1, *Children A1-A2.

These are communicative, state-of-the-art and highly efficient classes that comprehensively integrate the four learning abilities of listening and reading comprehension, oral and written expression, but without compromising on the required grammar. That's because I have all the suitable tools at our disposal. In addition to the class and workbooks, we use an interactive PDF-whiteboard. We have numerous audio and video tracks, as well as other very efficient interactive tools. Levels range from beginner to advanced, from A1 to C2. 

My approach is systematic but flexible, fully adapting to the learning pace of each student, so that they feel comfortable. And of course, I also try to make the class enjoyable and entertaining without leaving the academic objectives aside. In this sense, I know that most of you will need an international diploma at some point, and the methods I use are also aimed at this objective, as well as preparing you for colloquial communication in a new cultural environment. Every language is also a new culture, a new world.

Hi! I'm Tabea. I was born in Heidelberg (Germany) and I grew up in Spain, so I am bilingual in German and Spanish.

I started working as a German tutor in 2017, while I was still travelling a lot between Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece and the UK. I soon found out that I really enjoyed online teaching, since I had the chance to meet people from all over the world. I love learning things about other cultures and languages, as well as improving my teaching skills.

My lessons are quite flexible: I believe there is not only one method for learning a language. Students can be very different and even one person won't feel the same way every day. Therefore I take care to adapt each lesson to my students' needs. Do you feel you need a little help in conversation? Let's pick different topics and practise your speaking/listening abilities.
