Hello, my name is Luca-Curtis, I am 29 years old and live in changing countries in Asia.

Until recently, I was employed as a teacher at a school for two years, teaching German as a foreign and second language and physical education from 5th to 10th grade. I spent one year alone in Asia- and one year in Africa, gaining experience in teaching there. I was teaching at the time as part of volunteer work and also privately.

If someone were to describe me, they would say that I am funny, professional, patient and attentive.

I love to travel, be at festivals and do sports (all sports).

I am certified by the Goehte Institute and have over 5 years of experience in teaching German as a foreign and second language.

I taught children and teenagers from 10 - 18 years old for two years.

Adults of all ages, backgrounds and religions.

Trial lesson:

We discuss your language goals and I explain how you can achieve them.  

Of course, we also get to know each other a little and see if the chemistry between us fits.  

I will also recommend a book that we will work with in the following lessons. If you already have a book, it would be no problem to use this one (if you have been happy with it so far).

In general, you will talk a lot and I will correct you. Orally and in writing. We will keep a record of all corrections in GoogleDocs, which will also be available to you after our lessons, so that you can always refer back to it. 

My goal is to help you and achieve your personal goal together with you. Feel free to write me if you have a question and are unsure if I can help you with it.

Would you like to learn German with personalized lessons according to your needs and interests? Then I'm the right teacher for you!  In my German lessons you will not only learn the correct pronunciation and grammar but also a lot of useful facts and details about the German culture and way of living. This will help you if you are already living in a German-speaking country or plan to move there. I can also help you with exam preparation, such as Goethe-Test, Telc, or TestDaF.

In our German lessons you will find a safe space to practice speaking, make mistakes, get feedback, and little by little get more confident. Together we will create a tailored program designed to practice the specific situations where you will need to use German. We will use role plays, audios, videos, and a lot of different materials in order to improve your speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. Every student has a different learning pace and different needs and interests. In the trial lesson I will find out what your goals are and with that information I will be able to adapt my German lessons so that you will learn German and enjoy doing it! 

Since I have a Zoom Business account, you won't need to reconnect to the meeting during our  lessons (55 minutes).

Some facts about me: I was born in Spain and raised in Germany, so Spanish and German are my native languages, but I also speak English (C1 level), French (B2 level), and a little bit of Portuguese. Over the last 30 years I have taught languages (English, German, and Spanish) to children and adults of all ages and levels. I've helped several students to pass different language exams.

Hi there,

My name is Christine. I’m half German, half Belgian, and I have lived in Mexico for 19 years. I have been a teacher for 16 years and I have taught different subjects and languages, such as English, German, Spanish, world history, and geography.  My teaching approach depends on the student's level and interests. That being said, I believe that conversation is an important part of learning a language, and so I often focus on conversation or question-answer sessions in my classes. I love teaching and I always aim to make classes interesting.

I currently use the Netzwerk textbook and workbook by Klett (for A1 level), but I am open to working with other books as well. 

My Spanish level is excellent. I speak Latin American Spanish, but I know the grammar for Spanish from both Spain and Latin America.

Hi! I'm Tabea. I was born in Heidelberg (Germany) and I grew up in Spain, so I am bilingual in German and Spanish.

I started working as a German tutor in 2017, while I was still travelling a lot between Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece and the UK. I soon found out that I really enjoyed online teaching, since I had the chance to meet people from all over the world. I am a native German instructor as well as a certified coach for communication and emotional management. Since 2018 I have been helping people around the world to learn German in an easy and fun way. I started my work at a French High School. My main task there was to prepare the advanced learners for their oral exams. Later I continued at a French Engineering University teaching the students to apply their German skills to specific topics linked to their studies and future jobs. I also helped them in the preparations of their year abroad in a German speaking country. After this experience I switched to instructing beginners at a French Middle School and started my work online with beginners as well as advanced learners. 

My offer includes lots of exercises that will enable you to express yourself spontaneously and quickly break the barrier to speak. In addition to the sessions with me you will get tasks that you can easily complete and repeat throughout your everyday life.
