My name is Nina, I grew up in Berlin, Germany, but I´ve lived in the most northern German federal state for ten years now.

For me it is very important to create a pleasant atmosphere and to teach German with fun! Since i am a foreign language learner myself, i can also give you some tips on language learning, e.g. how to remember the articles? Or how do I remember the accusative/dative? I know some creative techniques :)

I´ve studied Linguistics and German/German as a foreign language and I have 7 years of teaching experience (mostly beginner level). I´ve been teaching German for a few years at a school (A1-B1) and at a University of Applied Science (Fachhochschule- Studienkolleg, B2-C1) and I teach German online since July 2022 and focus on the BEGINNER-levels up to B1. As you can see in my video, I can speak slowly and clearly for beginners. Due to my linguistic studies I can also help you with pronunciation and have many tips and exercises to help you improve your pronunciation.

I am well organized and have a lot of material at my disposal, also for self-learning if desired. In addition, I supplement the lessons with exercises in which you are active. I also use videos/songs and games in my lessons. We will set your goals at the beginning and we will work at your pace. In my lessons, you will learn to communicate in everyday situations. Of course you will also learn to read, write & understand German.

A little bit about myself: I´m very interested in languages, at the moment I`m learning Arabic, so I know what it is like to learn a new language. In my free-time, I like to be outdoors (ride my bike, urban sketching) but also inside (pet my cat Milou or be creative- painting/ upcycling,...)

My name is Sandra and I am a qualified teacher with a Masters of Education in German and English as a Second Language,  Physical Education , Religion and Art with 8 years of experience in teaching at various schools in Germany , Australia, Asia, Canada. My teaching style is very interactive and I try to adjust it to everyone's needs. Every student is different and learns differently. My goal is to equip my students with tools and also to inspire them with my enthusiasm for the German language & culture. My teaching method is to focus on the 4 skills : listening , speaking, reading and writing . Those 4 skills will be covered in every lesson except the student is requesting to focus only on the conversational part etc. I'm flexible and can accomodate to every students needs. Hi, I'm Your new German teacher. Born and raised in Switzerland but now living in Peru. I'm an artist, graphic designer and much more. I speak fluent English, Spanish and good French. I love to teach online because it allows me both to get to know new people from all over the world but also to take good care of my family. If you are a beginner its best to start with some structure. So, vocabulary, grammar and the structure of a sentence in general. If you are already advanced, we can concentrate on pronunciation and conversation. Of course, always in connection with listening, reading and writing.

Hi! I am Larissa, I am originally from Frankfurt, Germany. Since 2019, I've been teaching German as a foreign language via video chat and in face-to-face sessions. My students come from all over the world, from various age groups and have different skill levels. Depending on your skill level and requirements, we might start at the very beginning, dig into some grammar, do listening, reading and/or conversational exercises. I can also help you with different exam preparations or getting you ready to travel/move to a German speaking country. I like to work with free online sources, but am also happy to work with any material that my students bring to class. It is important to me to create a friendly and judge free atmosphere for my students where they feel comfortable just speaking and asking questions.

I am a qualified native German teacher (PGCE) from a town near Dortmund and I have been teaching German as a foreign language for over 30 years in a Grammar school setting in Northern Ireland. I have experience in the following: - 

• Teaching German as a private tutor face to face and online. 
• Teaching students to GCSE and A level examinations in my school and privately.
• Prepared students of all ages for the Goethe Institute level A2 and B1 examination.
• Teaching the Junior and Leaving Higher Certificate in German. 
• Teaching children who were born or had lived in Germany for some time but then moved back to the UK and successfully helped them retain their German and also complete the GCSE and A2 examinations for the Goethe Institute. 
• Teaching adults who have relocated to Germany and needed to pass the B1 examination to apply for Citizenship in Germany.
•  I also have given lessons to students who simply enjoyed learning German for fun and travel. 

My teaching is as varied as my students are. I often use the online version of the textbook recommended  by the Goethe Institute "Berliner Platz" A1, A2 and B1 level. I adapt my learning style to suit individual needs should you prefer conversational German or a more grammar focused lesson. I make the lesson enjoyable by including up to date teaching materials and refer to websites that will give the learner an insight into German culture as well, whenever possible, play quizzes such as Kahoot.

Hello! My name is Simon and I come from Germany. For many years, I lived abroad, working and studying in East Timor, Italy, Russia, Jordan and France. Living abroad, I always struggled not knowing the local language and developed a passion to do my best and learn these languages. 

Today I speak 7 languages. To get there, I developed many techniques and methods that helped me improve my grammar, understanding and speaking. Since I started teaching, I have helped more than 50 people and gathered over 2000 teaching hours of experience. I hope to share these techniques with you and help you reach your language learning goals. 

Learning a languages is a unique experience. Everybody has a different story for learning German. You may need to pass a German exam to enter university or work in Germany, you may have German friends or family and want to learn more, or you may simply enjoy learning German. 

For each of you, there is an individual plan waiting that meets these situations, expectations, and goals. Whether you are learning for fun, for an exam, or for travelling, we will practice the types of conversations, vocabulary, and grammar that you will need most.

I have taught all levels at our national university language lab and privately. Also, I prepare for international examinations: *Goethe A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2, *TELC, *DSH, *Occupation Medicine B2-C1, *Workplace/occupation A2-B1, *Children A1-A2.

These are communicative, state-of-the-art and highly efficient classes that comprehensively integrate the four learning abilities of listening and reading comprehension, oral and written expression, but without compromising on the required grammar. That's because I have all the suitable tools at our disposal. In addition to the class and workbooks, we use an interactive PDF-whiteboard. We have numerous audio and video tracks, as well as other very efficient interactive tools. Levels range from beginner to advanced, from A1 to C2. 

My approach is systematic but flexible, fully adapting to the learning pace of each student, so that they feel comfortable. And of course, I also try to make the class enjoyable and entertaining without leaving the academic objectives aside. In this sense, I know that most of you will need an international diploma at some point, and the methods I use are also aimed at this objective, as well as preparing you for colloquial communication in a new cultural environment. Every language is also a new culture, a new world.

My name is Marie and I'd like to help you to improve your German.

I was born and raised in Germany so I'm a native German speaker. Currently I'm living in France and work here as a teacher for German as a second and foreign language. 

For more than seven years I have been teaching German now in Germany and in France and with a lot of passion and joy for all levels and ages. It's a big pleasure for me to get to know so many cultures and people by teaching. Because of my stay in France, I speak French and of course also English.

In my classes I set the focus on you as an individual learner. So I prepare every lesson individually based on your personal needs. We will do various types of grammar exercises, reading comprehensions and of course we'll also talk a lot. I'm also having a lot of experience in successfully preparing students for German certificates (Goethe, telc) in all levels.
