My name is Magali. As a native French with a background in coaching and vocational training in communication, I’ve been a full time and private French tutor and instructor since 2015. I’ve lived in Canada (West and East coast) for 10 years and I am currently living in Brussels, Belgium. In both countries, I can be immersed in a multicultural environment, which makes me happy and at home. I’ve been a professional French teacher since 2007. I taught French in various language schools, for big companies and at university. Since 2020, I’ve been teaching exclusively online. These experiences have allowed me to be in contact with different types of students, from children to adults, from beginner to proficiency, for leisure or business purposes or to prepare for the official French certifications (I’m also a DELF examiner). My name is Célia, a native French teacher living abroad. I graduated with a master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language [teaching French to foreigners] in 2020 at the University of Paul-Valéry in Montpellier, and I became a certified DELF (A1–B2) corrector in 2022. I grew up in a small village near Montpellier, and I have lived in Northern Ireland, Germany, and Asia.

During my master’s degree, I learned how to create didactic units (lessons), design exams, and work with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). I have been teaching French both online and on-site—in international schools and at the Alliance Française : from A1 to C2 levels, to learners of all ages: children, teenagers, and adults. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, looking to build your skills, or just want to practice speaking, I’ll be happy to help!

In our first class, I’ll ask you why you want to learn French, what your goals and interests are, what your current level is, and if you want to focus on any particular aspect of the language. This first conversation during our trial lesson helps me get a better idea of your level so I can prepare a plan tailored to your needs. The materials I use are varied: listening exercises from media sources, text comprehension (books, articles, excerpts), grammar practice, and more. All resources are adapted to your level and objectives. Most materials are provided, and I also share a lesson summary and homework after each session （-＾▽＾-).

My teaching method is mainly based on communicative and action-oriented approaches. Whether you are here to learn French from scratch, or to improve that language, you've come to the right person. As I can speak English and Spanish, don't worry if your French is not completely fluent: we will work on it together. I learned my other languages while traveling so I'm very aware about the fact that the best way to learn a language is by practicing it everyday in casual conversations.
I usually like to start with a first conversation to evaluate your French level and your goals. We will then decide together what kind of class, duration and frequency best suits your needs, level and availability. Then I will adapt the way I speak and teach to your personal needs. 
We will spend the majority of our time together having conversations in French and, if you want, I also can provide formal lessons with exercises & oral or written comprehension.

I am an enthusiastic French teacher (I also teach English, Russian, Spanish and German). So, your mother tongue can be any of these languages  as I   speak and teach in all of these languages. Learning grammar is only one part of learning a language, the other part is practicing, and of course having as much fun as possible during the learning process! I work with a book to give your learning a structure. However, I also choose interesting videos, audio files and conversation topics so that you get immersed into the language as much as possible. 

My focus lies on the right pronunciation, motivating you and showing you that learning a language can be lots of fun. I have lived and worked two years in the South of France and have a German diploma in translation and interpretation for French, German and English. I speak 7 languages and 5 of them fluently. I want to show you that it is possible to learn a new language fast and with fun. I usually need 3-4 weeks in order to speak a new language fluently. How do I do it? Through as much immersion into the language as possible: reading books, comics, watching cartoons, films, YouTube videos, listening to songs, and speaking to natives in real life and online.

Hello, how are you? My name is Sylvain, I'm 30 and from Belgium. I currently live in São Paulo, Brazil with my wife. I have a degree in management, but I've been working as a French teacher since I arrived in Brazil. 
I did a university exchange in Chile, which helped me learn Spanish.  I'm a curious person and I'm interested in almost every topic, but I particularly like talking about the economy, politics, technology and cultural differences between countries.After arriving in Brazil, an opportunity came up for me to work as a French teacher in a school for adults, where I worked for the first two years. After that, I decided to become self-employed and concentrate on one-to-one, in-company and online teaching. Today, I have students of all levels with different objectives (work, travel, pleasure, French language maintenance, diplomacy etc.) and I love it when they are satisfied and see themselves progressing.
